  • India got more than Billion people to feed. We need to progress our country.

Uniting Bangladesh with India is dangerous idea. India can help them to develop - they need to take care their problems.

  • She sings timidly even the happy songs of 'Basanta'!

  • This womans's talent transcends her country of birth. She is a world class singer.

  • Rabindranath Tagore didnt belong to now a days India, nor bangladesh.he was from the united india that is called "Obibhokto Bharat",when bangladesh, india and pakistan were the same country.many of Gurudev's great creation for example"Shonar tori" kabyagrantha was written in Kushtia's shilaida which is in bangladesh.so,people who claimed that Gurudev is only from west bengal they are not true.u can read Sunil Gangapadhaya's "prothom alo"................

  • Rezwana chowdhury bonya is my most favorite singer. I am vey eager to see her in Kolkata function

  • IS IT TRUE FACT THAT RABINDRANATH PROTESTED THE IDEA OF ESTABLISHING DHAKA UNIVERSITY IN THAT TIME? HOW MUCH INFLUNECED HE MADE IN MUKTICHUDHA? ANY INSPIRING SONG LIKE MORA EKTI FULKE BACHABO BOLE JUDHO KORI?

  • Rabindra Nath Thakur in NO WAY belonged to Bangladesh.....I wonder how people can claim Gurudev as Bangladesh's gift to the World.....utter nonsense. He was an INDIAN and will remain so.....

  • চমৎকার। শ্রুতিমধুর।

  • Khub shundor

  • is bonya better than indrani sen? dont think so.

  • Bonna is probably the best Rabindra sangeet singer at present.

This is excellent, brings back lot of old memories.

To all Rabindra sangeet lovers, another song published in YouTube "e porobashe robe ke" is worth listening

  • Out and out 'bhongi sarbaswa' style. Every song can not be sung in one sad tone. This is how rabindra sangeet becomes unpopular; sadly due to this sad style some call it 'maraa kaannaa'.

  • @SuruchiSangeet : How much did you get paid for posting this? I cant believe my eyes when I see these posts. Man, u r offensive to the highest degree. Do u even know what "bhaab" about? We are talking Rabindrasangeet here.

Apnar ki personal life e kono serious problem aache?

  • Disappointing performance of Barisho Dhora Majhe . . :(

  • Rezwana Choudhury Bonna is probably the best Rabindrasangeet singer of contemporary times. While listening to her some of us become nostalgic and bring emotional issues. Rabindranath in his writings; be it poetry, short stories or novels, mostly referred to Bengal as Bangladesh. Many writers during his time or before and after him referred to Bengal in other names.Tagore in this respect was very forthright ,most probably he envisaged a Bengali nationhood devoid of bigotry and exploitation.

  • masud, well said. we are all one. let's not create divisions and narow domestic walls. let everyone be our friend.

  • Yes you are right, We Bengalis are one people, once culture.....physical borders will disappear, if we can help it.

My ancestors came from Bikrampur in Dhaka district....I've now settled in Mumbai ....but most of my relatives live in West Bengal. I've never ceased to be Bengali. Both me & my Wife hold our Bengali heritage close to our hearts. We are drawn to tears.....by the soulful melodies of Rabindrasangeet. Amar Sonar Bangla.....amra tomake Bhalobashi

  • You should be very proud of yourself. And yes "amar shonar Bangla ami Tomai Bhalbashi".

  • God bless you Rezwana for your beautiful songs. Please keep singing.

  • Here's a voice, an attitude that transports me straight to my childhood days in Calcutta...to 70's Bengal...

God bless you Ms. Chowdhury for rendering such melody...

  • Imbecility of mankind had divided us.If we were united,we could have been envy to other nations of this world.Hopefully people would understand this one day.

  • Absolutely true. We should understand religion is a faith..not the basis of a race. Culturally, linguistically there's hardly any difference between Bengali Hindus and Muslims. I see a lot more difference between Bengali Hindus and other Hindus of India or Bengali Muslims and other muslims of Pakistan. I really wonder which country would have been more meaningful and logical..United Bangladesh or the existing setup of countries.

  • hail ! we all want a United Bengal Republic but in these times it is sadly not possible. Perhaps a loose federation. Joy Bangla !

I BECOME SPEECHLESS.I AM GRATEFUL TO BANGLADESH TO GIVE US SUCH A GIFT OF ESSENCE,she brings heaven on earth through her melody and expression.i can only IMAGINE for parents to have such a daughter! unthinkable!best of love and regards!

  • CASTE SYSTEM OF HINDUS and neglect of the downtrodens were the lowerclass who were feeding the upperclass.this class when converted to ISLAM was azadi from the clutches of GREEDY HINDUS.unfortunately today's MUSLIM society they created the same class system against ISLAM. BONNYA IS A BLESSING, OUR PRIDE AND JOY .SHE IS ENIGMA OF BENGALI SPIRIT.SHE IS TRULY THE HINDU GODDESS AND ISLAM'S EBADAT -ALL IN ONE.

  • if germany could unite after Breaking the Berlin wall >USA ,UK SAID,"it will last 3months"

  • ami thaki bharatbarshe. ebong kolkatai. amar priyo gayikader modhye R.C.Bonna ekjon. t.v.te uni jedini gaan poribesona koren sedin amar bari suddu sabai suni. mone hoei jeno sab paap dhue gelo

  • Barisho Dhora Majhay'r shur to dekhi kera bera laygay giyechay. Sad.

  • How I wish I can tell my secondary school principal , Mrs Sigamani : " Yip Siew Kin ' s health regained and is doing fine ! "

  • don't say gift of Bangladesh.......gift of god himself.don't bias like that...

  • look its my cousin!!!

  • yes my friend
