She is a good singer. Carrie Underwood just has a more unique voice than Jessica Simpson's. Jessica Simpson is more of a performer as well.

This is actually alright.
The timbre of her voice is quite refreshing when we're used to always hearing really heavy, rich voices like Carrie Underwood's.

Oh gosh, well it's not bad, but if you compare her to country singers like Carrie then she pales in comparison. She does have a nice voice though, prefer her pop stuff.

I think it is the fact that the pop world has trained her to present a certain image, which is the blonde bombshell ditsy image and bringing that on stage to Opry Live was a bad choice. That Hollywood ditsy routine doesn't fit in with country. It actually made her stand out and appear annoying.

i have no problem with dancing at all. or country. in fact i love country music. the problem is that she seems like she is trying to be something she isnt. to me she looks like she is uncomfortable in that skin.

ok, so jessica went country. why? because she loves it. But idk, country people are so much more down to earth. shes been performing pop so long the only thingt thats changed is the genre... I really like this song, though.
