@longlivetheloud2 Actually, this was featured in "Shock SuspenStories" in 1953, way before Robert Bloch's "Psycho" was published (1959). If anything (presuming the original has a similar ending - I haven't yet read it) "Psycho" is a "Came the Dawn!" knockoff.

You should read the original comic book version. EC Comics' ShockSuspense Stories #9! The cinema version vs. the comic is vastly different. This Norman or rather "Norma" Bates version is silly compaired to Wally Wood/ William Gaines version in a comic book dating all the way back to 1953!
