@salviaaddict I used to have a 3 step approach, you really should consider going to a 4 or 5 step approach since you generate more power with less upper body effort. Its also much easier to break down your swing so you can change it as you get more comfortable with where the ball is at any time.
@TheNotDone ight man thanks ive been working on my approach but its all good now so i am thankful for ur reply but i figured it out cus my brother showed me.
I'm a very new bowler who couldn't get past a three step approach until watching this video. The rhythm of the 4 step approach was hard for me to figure out, now I realize that the third and fourth steps are suppose to be faster than the first and second. Great stuff!
I've been using a four step approach as long as I can remember. I've been seriously bowling for about 8 months now with decent scores and a decent average of 192 and a high game of 267. But I've been using an extended pushaway rather than a hinge. Actually, its really over extended pushaway since I pushed up and out and let it fall into the backswing. I've gotten used to it but it falls off time very easily. So I'm trying really hard to get what Chris has in this video. Here's hoping
you dont deserve to bowl if you dont respect the chris barnes. i think he should be the king of bowling, if not the prince (2nd best). even though Wes is awesome too.
