My mum says I can't stretch mine because she doesn't like how it looks :/ but I tried explaining that I like it and it's my ears but she isn't having any of it
@L1LTERRA sometimes your parents are right, my mum wouldnt let me get snakebites when i was 13 and i thank her so much for that cause i wouldnt suit them. If youre like 15/16+ really she should be giving you some sort of freedom to at least stretch up 1 size, i waited till i was 16 to stretch my ears, im 18 now and have a 20mm ear :) (almost an inch in gauge)
My parents found out that I went up to a 4 gauge when I was only supposed to go to a 12... sooo kind of way bigger. That was in august, and I have a pixie cut, so I have just been taking them out at home, or wearing hats all the time. I go to college next year though so I'll get bigger then :P I am at a 00g now but I might go back down because its hard for my ears to look normal with this size :P

Told em i was going to 00g and that they would close if I took them out. Got to 00g and wanted to go bigger so I just went to half inch and when they found out my ears wouldn't close I told them to get over it and they never mentioned it again. Now I'm going to 5/8ths for a bit before I decide if I want to go to 3/4 :)
@pandaxfacexmeow Yea thanks...I was just talking to a friend who I work with whos ears at half inch and mine are 2g....and he said that his go back if he leaves it out for a while.
@ravendeath1128 thats like asking why people dont color on their skin with haarpie instead of getting tattoos that will 'fuck up their skin for life'. to some ppl, body mods are art. tasteful and attractive. not fucked up.

@Winkay1129 Don't hide things from your parents, you are a little young. Maybe make a contract with them? Say you wait until a certain time and think it over. I know how it feels about your parents not wanting you to mod your body, I did the contract thing with them and it totally worked (:
@Winkay1129 I wouldn't recoment hiding them.. If your parents don't want you to stretch you have to wait even if it sucks... only thing you can do is telling them all about it .. how you do it.. that it shrinks back together if you take em out and all that stuff... maybe they'll allow it then
