Though I couldn't blame the 'keeper for any of Italy's 3 goals,his only real howler was in the game against U.S.S.R.I think Cerezo's mistake for the second goal was so unnessessary,there was no pressure and Brazil spent 45 minutes of constant attacking to equalize which drained them and the 3rd goal was only 16 minutes from time and Italy did what they're good at which is stifling.Anyway Brazil 1982 for me is the best soccer team known to man and will always be my favorite!!

The football they played in the first round is some of the most beautiful ever seen but were any of the teams they faced in that first round respectable opposition? Come on!!! The real test for Brazil came in the Second Round where they had to finish above Italy and Argentina and they failed. Unlike round 1, this round had top teams, not crap teams. They had to get the result necessary to finish above both teams and they didnt succeed. I find it insane that people rate this team as the greatest WC team ever just because they destroyed a bunch of crap teams ( even tho the football was wonderful). Being the best team is about beating the top teams. Not the crap teams.

Archibald, Jordan, Dalglish (absolutely fantastic, way better than Serginho, could easily play for us), the great Souness was an emperor in the midfield.......but Brazil was just magic in this match and these goals send Scotland back home too early. It was unfair, they were better than the soviets. Sorry about my english
