I hate the wii controller yh i cant play wii and i tried it at me m8s house and i hate the wii controlles for it but it does have better graphics than ps2 and extras gamecube is awesome but has no extras pc just same as ps2 so im gonna get up off my ass and buy the gamecube and gamecube version i dont really give a fuck about the extras

he failed to mention that all the in-game cutscenes are FMV instead in the ps2 version, which looks a bit blurry and with compression artifacts. this is lame when you get new costumes and the cut-scenes will only show the standard one.

how come on the ps2 version, some of the sound is off, and I cant even break any torches or lights, and the special costumes arnt shown in the cutscenes?

Because the cutscenes in the ps2 are cgi, in the gamecube they are in real time using the game's engine, as for the sound and details, maybe some lazy programing for the port =P

it's because the cutscenes are no longer in-game on the ps2, only FMV videos from the gamecube version. was obviously not room to have a separate FMV cutscenes for every costume..

i was very annoyed by this fact and that very few reviews tend to mention it.

the PS2 version had a lot more hidden features, such as the Seperate Ways game. I for one am willing to sacrifice the minor graphical details for the extra bonus features :)

Yes indeedy, they done an AWSOME job for PS2 version. I think I got it when it first came out in 2005, it was like $80 and i though that was expensive. But now, the games today are about $120. ONLY for the PS3 & X-BOX 360 of course, and the reason the're that price is because of the advanced graphics.

Yeah I have an xbox 360. I have RE5 and im getting RE4 for ps2 this weekend. Ive seen some vbideos and I agree RE4 looks scarier than RE5. Nothing really is scary in RE5 except for like the boss battles and when people sneak up on you.

The wii version blows both away. It has all the ps2 versions content, plus the GCNs versions graphics....actually better than the GCN version's graphics because the wii supports 480p and 16:9 widescreen.
