There is a way to duel wield needlers in halo 3. Pick up one needler and find another. Crouch on top of the needler. Imediatly start to melee the other needler. While meleeing the needler, hold LB. Eventually, usually after 5 hits, the needler will pop in your hand. Thats how you duel wield needlers. :)
