@bland9876 i don't really know. this is my favorite Kirby game, yet it was my first Kirby game. Kirby Super Star Ultra is fun, too. Kirby Super Star Ultra would be a little better, though, because it has a lot of stories in one game.

Only gripe with this game is when going for treasures sometimes the game pulls nasty moves throwing branching paths with no subtle hints on which path leads to the treasure. If you screw up and take the wrong way you have to start the level again. Other treasures are in Waddle Dees who do not respawn if they escape and they are often in rooms with mechanisms that make them get away if you screw up. I use GameFAQs for those treasures so I do not waste time with them.

I love this game. I beat it and the last boss needless to say was unexpected. If you crossed Dark Star from M&LBIS and Dark Matter from Kirby's Dreamland 2 you would probably get something like Dark Nebula.

I think Kirby games have the same basic system of gameplay(sucking abilities, spitting out, flying,most of them being sidescrollers,etc.), but that's what makes every Kirby game great!

Hey squizzirel, thanks for your comment. kirby games are just plain fun. have you played kirby airride? i finally completed all the checklists. just for you to know, kirby is my second favorite series. i like more Zelda, especially Majora's Mask. my third favorite series is metal gear, but i only own Metal Gear: The Twin Snakes for gamecube!

Kirby games are amazing, ESPECIALLY the side scrolling action ones. 3D murders him. Everyone loves it though because its SO easy to just pick up and play, the controls are SO polished and tweaked to perfection. The graphics are simple and love able. The music, even though most of the time it is recycled from past games is still classic and usable. They are great short games, some length would be great, but eh.

Ok, just to make it clear for everyone >_< The longer the mix bubbles the less random abilites will be. Like if you mix them until you get white bubbles then you will either get sword, cutter or sleep. Also another compatible ability is sleep and sleep which always gives you ghost if you have unlocked the ghost miniboss >_<

mixing two abilities just gives a random one back, as far as I can tell, theres no specific results from mixing specific powers.... so if you're carrying two abilities you don't like, you can try for something better.

The only mixable abilities are Sword and Bomb with Fire, Ice(both), and Spark(Bomb only), and you need the Sword and Bomb scrolls.

actually it's only random when the two abilities aren't compatible. If they are, you WILL gt a specific ability. For example you will always get a fire sword ability if you mix the fire ability with the sword ability.

Gold Waddle Dee's are a little hard to get, the funny thing is, they try to take them selves into their own suicide. You have to save them so you can kill them and take the treasure chest that you hold.
