Humanity should accept there will be no contact with aliens. There's probably many out there, but we're all bound to slow ass rockets or whatever fancy propulsion they come up with. It will be unuseable to cross stellar distances in reasonable time. If going to the stars means 100 years of cryosleep, I'll rather watch an episode of Star Trek instead.
