@xaviourte One thing to remember, cockpit building is a hobby and can be quite expensive. No one is going to build an entire cockpit to scale, then show you a movie. People fly as the hobby and build over time. It can take years at current prices to get a full cockpit going. I still have lots to do on mine.
@my737sim i know ,e too i have (tryed) to build mine like so far i got on fsx 40 gig of addon a 2 part joystick but i mean you put so much money into it and you got only one screen and a little screen i did not say that this suck it rule i would love to have this but i mean if you want to have this its like if you build a car that is exactly like a lambo you put 100 000$ on every part of the car, but you cut off for the engine and you got a lawnmower motor for a lambo car.
Still doesn't make sense. You are saying he's put all this money into panels, etc but isn't going to put any money into a screen. That doesn't make sense, because it's build over time. Maybe he wants to get 3 projectors at $1500 each = $4500 and maybe doesn't have that yet. Just cause he's a small screen doesn't mean he's going to always have a small screen. If you put 100k into a lambo but don't yet have the 50k for the engine, does that mean you'll never have the engine? lol Give him time...
@my737sim yeah i know i dind say it was finished he dint said it was finished i just said it was weird that he had such lot of screen for altimeter like a real cockpit, but for the screen where he see outside, that screen is small. it just look weird
I think people need to know something here, just because someone likes simulators, doesn't mean they have to become pilots, it's a hobby, like train sets for old farts, but we don't expect your grand dad to become a train driver so why expect an aviation enthusiast to be anything other than that, and believe me with a sim cock pit like that, you could learn a hell of a lot before decide to become a pilot. secondly to fly a real 737 means you need to be working for a company.
i hate to think how much all of this costs!!! Awesom though

I've just got into sims, but that's major geeky, beats having to press pause and pissing about with a mouse though.
Don't think I would go this far, but each to their own.

lol..
only the panels for the captain main panel cost about 500€.
you can calculate with min. 8.000-10.000@ for that. you should look for flyengravity on google.
well..simulation like that is expensive
