In general & up to a point, the longer the driver length, the more speed is generated. However, the longer the driver length gets, the harder it is for most people to make good contact. Missing the sweet spot by an inch or more can cost you 20+ yards...thus negating any potential distance you might have picked up from the faster speed of the longer length driver. So basically, to get the highest average driving distance, go with the longest length driver where you can still make good contact.
