  • Cobras running scared .. starting to wonder ... can he survive the Roooollin Thundaaaaa

  • There's a city in Illnois called ROLLING MEADOWS, and everytime I drive past Rolling Meadows, I think of this song.

  • Best Christmas Present ever ! 1989

  • Best Tank Ever.

  • I'm looking at mine right now. Awesome.

  • Just imagine: Someone with a music background had to sit and think, "I need to write a song about a toy."

  • America F*** Yeah!

  • Wasn't there a commercial for the Skystorm X-Wing chopper and the Mean Dog?

  • I love how into it the singer of these songs gets. It's like gospel music.

  • one of the coolest toys i had as a kid... tank gun 2 nukes wiht more missles in the nukes. i think i played with it in the mud ond day and sum of the tires came off lol.

  • You gotta wonder who wrote the music for these commercials.

  • My older brother had one of those growing up, but I was never allowed to play with it.

  • lol, Neither did I, I mean, I never allowed my brother to even touch it (:

  • I just ordered a vintage GI Joe Rolling Thunder! I'm so excited!

  • you gotta love gi joe toys. always building things to scale no matter how big the thing is they will make the toy. and to scale.

  • I had that. Freaking awesome until I got the General. Looking back, Cobra was really outmatched in my imaginary battles as a kid. Three Hisses and a Razorback against a Hammer, Mobile Battle Bunker, General, Rolling Thunder, etc.......

  • yah but Cobra vehicles made up in sneak attacks and covert ops. Cobra forces were better in guerilla warfare than in regular convetntional battles.

  • GIJOE Rollin' Thundaa...machine gun, missiles and a dirty nuke, pitbulls with aids and a rocket tower Rollin Thunder is a awesome powaaaaa....

  • ....pitbulls with aids, i had this toy as a kid but there were no pitbulls with aids (pausing to double-over laughing)

  • this was an xmas present for me as well, awsome toy. toys today cant amount to this.

  • I had this but my dad had bought it from a yardsale so it was missing most of the pieces and the wheels kept falling off. I was still the envy of all the other kids though.

  • I had this one as a Toy, awesome vehicle back then.

  • Sunbow animation in these commercials is awesome!

  • In 1998 I was 16 and I came home from school to find my mum had done a complete overhaul of my room. I asked where are my toys? "Oh.." she said "I gave them away to charity" My TMNT, Transformers, Dino Riders (even the ones when they went ice age), C.O.P.S, Brave Star, He-Man and my beloved G.I.Joes including this one. To this day she still feels bad about it.

  • it is sad.. some of toys i think we sould keep them to remember as better days..

  • Maybe im overreacting, but I would have murdered him. Nah, definitely not overreacting.

  • dude... i cannot begin to express my sadness to your story, as a fellow JOE/transformer/TMNT and HE-MAN owner. no man should ever have to go through that :(

  • My mum almost did the same, one day she found Storm Shadow "camping" over the tv, she took it away right to the garbage. Right next week she got a note from school: "Your son's been depressed all week..." The teacher told her about collectors making money out of action figures, she never wasted our toys any more, 25 years later she still want to collect her loot but our stuff remains not for sale. Guess we were lucky, parents shouldn't do what yours did, it's horrible!

  • I got this for christmas, 1989....It...was...Sweet!!

  • nobody beats gi joe!!! gi joe will pwn you allll!!!

  • Got this near complete at my friends vintage toy store...I might have it battle Trypticon.

  • I'm 13 years old and I have one of those. And to my suprise I found out that the gi joe rolling thunder was from 1988. If you want one, Ebay is the place to be.

  • This was my favorite machine! Sweet post!

  • Cool, until Dirka A Dirk mines the road with IED's then how cool its Rolling Thunder, more like Rolling Death Trap. Lol, is it blast proof? What they really need is the Cougar, or Buffalo.

  • this song is straight out of an American 80s kung fu clip lol, GI Joes owned back in the days..lol

  • Yeah,it's funny and kinda sad when the comic commercials are way better than the episodes.

  • the only thing better than a gi-joe episode...the toy commercials!...hell yeah!!

  • I wished we had gear like that for real and plenty of it.

  • That was a B*tch to put togeather

  • Man I used to have that Vechicle *sniffles* so many memories

  • how many tax payer dollers went to make that machine? GI Joe are the real terrorist

  • Only $39.99 MSRP at your local Trolls R Us! With in-store coupon, you get 10% off!

  • LOL who makes those songs in the commercial ? Real 'soul' flava to it, love it man !
