  • Great Stuff -Amazing -

  • thanks :)

    Eeco

  • Just great, wonderful stuff. Played by the Master. If we could bottle this, would it taste like Carlsberg ? (You know when the TV ad man says, 'Probably the Best in the World ) . Now I am getting lyrical !

  • thanks :D

  • "you can please some of the people some of the time....." just keep doing what you're doing. Those that "can't" often are the first ones to criticize. I'm workin' on a "thing" to get you and Cam together on U.S. television...how do you feel about a white tux? I told Cam he'd probably have to also wear shoes.

  • Well Im used to all the negative things in life..I just do my thing and try to help people out whereever I can! If you can manage to get me and Cam to the states..man that's my dream coming true :) because thats the country where this music is coming from..take care! bye Eeco

  • I miss your old videos like this eeco. Why don't you just post songs like this anymore?

  • sorry have been busy what all kind of stuff, making website, flyers etc..just got back from a gig in switzerland so I have to cool down..:)

  • eeco , just keep doing what you do , it doesn't get any better. I give you 5 stars on 90% of your videos

  • I think this is Worldclass !! As good as it gets!

  • Really like your stuff, it's all there. But I hear that classic riff too much and you could add in more dynamics and then everything well be more than perfect!

  • Great classical music... classic boogie.

  • I really like you're style of playing but why do you add 89 videos wich include 80 boogies in C :|

After a while it's getting a little boring. I mean you're so talented and the only change i see is the intro by saying let's boogie. After that you start with a song that i heard 15 times already. Instead of adding same boogies you could post a ragtime or something. (had het ook in het nederlands kunnen zeggen maar omdat engels hier de voertaal is ;)

  • Most Boogie Woogie original songs are played in C,F,G as I mentioned before. Ofcourse there are other boogie woogie songs in other keys but I dont like/prefer to play in Bflat or Aflat..I've posted some ragtime hands..

  • well every song I play from albert ammons/pete johnson are different I play. You have to read more books/listen to their cd's to understand the teqnique ;)

  • I like that Rhytm! (LEUK) Got to learn it... Its great to get busy whith new fantastic music ! Lets "Boogie" !

  • Mother fucker! It looks so damn satisfying to be able to play like that. I am sure it is exponention in comparison to the satisfaction I get listening to it. And that alone is already very large. Blargh! I hate being a noob. :D Good job!

  • I love this song! Do you have the sheet music for this song?? Trying to figuring in out from the video I get lost after second 31 haha .. and somehow watching your fingers it doesn't look all that complicated .. the riffs/patterns are always based on the C, F and G chords, right??

  • No,sorry it's just an improvisation.Well if you play a boogie woogie in C..it's mostly C,F,G yeah but you can add your own chordchanges to it..before going to G you can go to D7 first if you want to,but I dont do that, unless you have to in the chordchanges in for example:"lady be good"..

  • Hi I'm Albert A. in Boogie Heaven and I'm just a smil'in...ahhhhhhh

  • Wonderful again, Eeco!

  • Never saw it Eeco play it either, but I do know from my own playings.. I just don't think that I used it on a video yet :) I feel like Ammons is there, watching at your back Eeco, he would be proud of you. We are many that are. I keep practicing, but I ain't really getting anywhere...

  • Very interesting and different....I like it though! :)

Never seen you play that left hand before

    Cam :)

  • Another joyful, swinging, really well played tune! Thanks for uploading, Eecho!

Interesting left hand: You're using finger 3 on two consecutive notes - e.g tonic, both D# and E.

  • Great how everyone has his own fingering. See how Eelco plays 5-5-3-3-1-1-1? The second finger we might as well cut off! :) (Just kidding, Eelco ;)

  • That's correct..there's in the one in boogie woogie blues but then with C,C,C+E,C+F,C+G,C+G,C+A,C+G.but in this one I think also used at that time is: C,C,C+Eflat,C+E,C+G,C+G,C+A,C+G..

  • Yet another classic Boogie Woogie piece that the late great Albert A and all the other boogie piano cats would be swingin and jivin too :), If I didn't know any better, sometimes when you play, it's almost like Albert is there with you at the piano, with a great big smile :)

Top rating as always :) Willie
