  • amazing the cultural differences. We call those worms ´rainworm´ Regenwurm in german. After rain they appear.

  • @AO1Uta That''s a fitting name! It's always exciting to see our 'rainworms' on-the-move after being released from nearly seven months of inactivity buried deep below the frostline. I wonder if these worms celebrate the arrival of Spring (or the appearance liquid water after so much ice) as much as we do? This particular earthworm is rather large specimen (24 cm when it's stretched out). ;-)
