The colour of the temple sticks out from the colour of the rocks around it... This would be fine if the temple wasn't that far behind the rocks... It should mash together better.

He Showed the process then gave some explenation to it. He also gave some tips! It's obvious that he was trying to educate people of this process, which is the tutorial. Just because he didn't explain every little thing in depth doesn't mean that it's not a tutorial.

Good tutorial. I'm surprised at how many people out there don't create a color palette for their work, they're stuff all looks either uneven, or lacking in colors. People don't realize that if you just create a palette you'll cut a lot of time out of the work, and most importantly be able to evenly create as many colors as you need. Good point about shadows & depth BTW.
