ok i just returned from there.nice city and all and nice excursion.but not anything spectacular.i was prepared to be amazed and i wasnt.greece is much better.
and everything beautiful there is either byzantine or greek or roman or slavic etc.only the mosks are turkish.
and ENORMUS turkish flags and flags of kemal everywhere that destroy the beauty ofthe buildings.and the sea seems more like a swamp with brown waters.anyway i should have chosen italy (rome florence siena). but for 1 time not bad.

Hagia Sophia is a building guys, it cannot have an ethnic origin or nationality.
A very fine building, built by people who lived 1500 years ago, maintained by other people to survive hopefully thousands of years more.
