Hersey's chocolate is manufactured, picked and prepared after harvesting by children in West Africa. They work with dangerous chemicals and work with little sleep away from their families, and they cannot leave their work. Which makes them child slaves in every sense of the word. I'm not making a statement against Hersey's, chocolate, encouraging riot-ish stuff or boycotting, I'm raising awareness. And saying everyone should tell Hersey's to take measures against this in their supply line.

A large plant making Hershey's chocolate is still located in Hershey, PA. It's called the West Hershey plant. It's currently undergoing expansion. The downtown plant is scheduled to close. Parts of that plant are over 100 years old, so the facility will be turned into mostly office space.
