I have a 65 Valiant that I am turning into a gasser, its about half finished. It has a straight axle with rack&pinion steering, a .040 over 440 with tunnel ram and 727, rearend is an 8 3/4 with 3.92 gears. Be prepared to fabricate parts.
i have got a 1965 plymouth valiant 2 door sedan that i am going to make into a gasser, too. but im gonna put a 318 in it for now because im 13 and my uncle says that i dont really need a big horse motor to put in it.
You saved a Plymouth Valiant you have sure done a Great Thing. Those are truly wonderfull little cars.Don't throw that slant6 away there are guys who will buy that engine.
