Well, if Chino called he would have been playing AK out of position against dragomir who just 3bet him which, depending on his image, probably told Chino that he might have a high pocket pair (JJ+ maybe). If the flop came up 2 5 8rainbow, what would Chino do with his measely AK? Surely he'd fold to a bet by Dragomir and especially a reraise(if chino did bet first). It was the right play i think.
