@jdincc1 a blunt can be rolled with a tobacco cigar, minus tobacco, but you can buy blunt wraps at a gas station or convenience store, a joint, i guess, if you are low on supplies, can be rolled in cig papers, but you can buy joint papers at a convenience store, and a roach is when you have a small amount of weed left in a joint/blunt/spliff and you smoke it. an answer to your question, spliffs are like fatter, longer joints with a filter and are rolled a different way

I love how people seem to think that their way of smoking weed is the only good way. It is just a dried out flower that you light on fire, really doesn't matter how it combusts.

@off9999 You can see the glue through the paper. Just lick the glue line(outside) of your spliff. The final move is NOT to tear the excess paper off. The trick is to hold the spliff vertical with the filter on bottom. Light the excess paper, as it burns up to the top get ready to take a drag and light your spliff. It takes practice, be carful not to burn a hole in it. Once mastered you can burn off the excess paper and light your spliff all in one move!

i've seen a lot of utube videos on how to roll a spliff and many people i've met throughout the years and there is always the age-old dispute to put or not to put tabacco in the joint (will it affect the high?) ONCE AND FOR ALL: tabacco gives the smoke a head rush since it's inhaled for longer than when smoking cigarette and therefore theeffect is a combined high or weed high + head rush (as you prefer)

@myszkowm then put 1:3 the cig in on the bottom layer. this is the important part when you put your weed in make sure it goes in the center of your bottom layer. dont let it fall down the back of the rizla and build up on 1 side, coz what you want is a mound down the middle with a gap either side. so when you put your top layer on.it falls down either side of the mound of weed.then when you roll it you will find that your weed is surrounded on 3 sides and will hardly ever sidebur

Tobacco (if you use it) is then the next culprit, so very dry tobacco will speed up the burn too.

Theory is, that every mix you make is slightly different in size. You can't always have the same amount of stuff to go in the joint.

Ripping the paper AFTER you roll means you use exactly the amount of paper you need for the spliff.

I actually have a counter question. WHY rip the paper first? What if you rip the paper too thin (maybe you missjudge for eg.)and the mix you made is enough for a Marley jay?
