You pick the BEST music O_O just listening to this makes me wanna learn more about these guys... and makes me hope they come out with a Deathwatch codex if they haven't already
The deathwatch is NOT a chapter. Its an order which all the chapters assist with their best warriors for a number of missions or a given length of time.
@Tonseren Correct. They are the finest marines selected from many different chapters (e.g. Crimson Fists) that are given the duty to exterminate Xenos
@PROkiller16 That didnt make much sense.... But just to be clear. Its an organisation within the inquisition that draws spacemarines FROM the chapters.
@Tonseren Chamber Militant are basically the fighting arm of an Ordo. The Deathwatch is a Chapter like the Gray Knights are, just they get warriors from other Chapters and not through recruitment.
If you bothered to read the page, you'd notice that all the Marines listed there ALL come from other chapters. The Deatwatch are NOT a chapter, they are made up of Marines from other chapters who have experience fighting Xenos
@TechbotALPHA They are, I can give you a link to the Chapter rolls which have the Deathwatch on them. Just because they don't train recruits doesn't mean they aren't a Chapter.
@PROkiller16 sorry mate, they're not an official chapter, they're actually apart of the ordo xenos, "alien hunter". so they would full under the inquisition cadagory. they're basicly hand picked by the inquisitor as the "special task" force of the order, all the space marines are selected from different chapters, (eg. blood angle, ultramarine or black templar). since the inquisition has 3 main offices, and are spread all over the place, it would be imposable to class it as a stand alone chapter.
@lordarchron The Inquisition doesn't pick them, their respective Chapters send them and then they form kill teams. To say they aren't a Chapter is to say the Grey Knights aren't since you're saying they fight for the Inquisition, go to the Lexicanum if you don't believe me because it has it there as well.
@PROkiller16 for thrown sake, yes the inquisitor does select them, and usually only needs just 1 squad. they don't follow the space marine codex and are not a chapter, they are apart of the inquistion. they only rule book that ackknowledges them is death watch, which is a spin off of the kill team sceanario in 4th ed. but you could always believe that a squad of 4 makes a chapter, even if they're mixed with pychers and imperial storm troopers, and the odd inquisitor and ruetine.
@lordarchron Throne. Every Marine follows the Codex, it's full of very smart tactics and solutions to combat scenarioes they might encounter. I sent you a link to a list of Chapters, all of which are real (dead or otherwise) which even says Deathwatch.
The uniforms of the Imperial Guard are camouflaged in order to protect their wearers by hiding them from sight.
The principle is that what the enemy cannot see he cannot kill. This is not the way of the Adeptus Astartes. A Space Marine's armour is bright with heraldry that proclaims his devotion to his Chapter and the beloved Emperor of Mankind. Our principle is that what the enemy can see, he will soon learn to fear...
@Akimyp the salamanders have entered their dimension before and there has been occasions of slave revolt that has done some damage to them, in the past. also even if there was only one ork there would be more in no time.
@takkun34 Deathwatch are just ordinary space marines drawn from different chapters to fight as the Ordo Xenos... grey knights were specifically designed to hunt down and kill heretics and daemons for the Ordo Mallus (spelling?) so grey knights would
Two headed eagle ! Ω (omega) inverted , 3E (ELL) , all those are very powerful symbols . Today i discovered warhammer videos by luck and still , i am very amazed of it .
@hoggg11 the 3E symbol maybe is a I (iota) with Ξ (ksi) . This reminds me the I (iota) X (hee) symbol (It means Jesus Christ ) the Byzantine knights used in their shields with the two headed eagle as their flag . Interesting .
@hoggg11 The 2 headed eagle is a Byzantine sumbol from the time of the Komnenoi Dynasty. That symbol spreaded through balkans (Serbia), Russia and central europe (Austria) after the fall of Konstantinouple in 1453. It is a very powerfull and beautifull symbol descent from the anscient latin/roman eagle (aquila).
@hoggg11 True. Space Marines are like "Romans of 41st millenium", with all those ancient Rome -stylish names. That's why they have copied the Double-headed eagle device.
@DehJarlorNoob i see haha . When i saw those videos , it was interesting the least to say the truth . For example the inverted Omega , possibly symbolises "the infinite" ones etc etc .
@GUNFLASH20 YOU shut it down? There were some awesome videos on there, like the dark angels and black templars tributes, you don't happen to have those filed away somewhere do you?
@UNIT5016 Actually, ironically, Ravenor and his Deathwatch work alongside the Eldar on a regular basis. Many of the technologies in his Grav-throne were originally designed by the Eldar.
