what about Jimmy Howard, Jonas Gustavsson, J.S Giguere, Eddy Belfour, Martin Gerber, any of those back ups could have replaced toskala, toskalas a free agent and ill tell you why, hes inconsistant not reliable not to a team that hasnt made the playoffs in 50 years you cant just pick any starting goalie, look at steven mason he came out on fire, 10 shutouts in his rookie career he looked better than kiprusauf and look at him today only a .750 save percentage and 4-5.00 GAA
