We have about 80 years on this earth. Our end is predicted within that time frame. There is no need for anyone to 'rapture' us, we do that ourselves when our time is up.
How could you possibly calculate the date of the raputure? Even if by some flawed logic you arrived at the conclusion that the world WOULD end 7000 years after the flood, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to calculate!
Why?
Because in the Dark Ages, the Western World COMPLETELY lost track of the calendar, and the original calendar was sent completely askew in the 1500s when the Gregorian calendar was adopted! We are so far off the original calendar that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to accurately calculate.

Great someone who has explained the maths. So camping has just pulled the flood date to fit with his own comprehension of the biblical timeline, where the bible states God declared the end from the beginning that would be 7 days from Adam not Noah. The day & hour is referring to the feast of trumpets with the sighting of the crescent moon within a 2 day period. Chronologically the flood was approximately 2600 B.C.

May 21, 2011 will fulfill Bible prophecy, but not the Rapture. It is going to fulfill 2 Peter 3:3-4. The Rapture will not be far behind. It must occur before Palestine is recognized as a nation which will fulfill Daniel 9:27 & Revelation 11:1-2. So get ready for the scoffing on May 22, but Christians will be out of here soon. The first 69wks r from 457 B.C. at Artaxerxes' decree to restore & build Jerusalem to 27 A.D. at Christ's baptism (anointing). Luke 3 tells us that Christ's baptism was in the 15th year of the reign of Tiberius. That was 27 A.D. according to historical records. The 70th week (1 week) was from A.D. 27 to A.D. 34. Christ died in the "midst" of the week in 31 A.D. putting an end to all sacrificial value.
There is NO future 70th week, or "7 yr period of tribulation". Yes, there is a future great tribulation, but the 70th week has NOTHING to do with the future tribulation. The 70th week is past, fulfilled, never to be realized again. ALL our Protestant Reformers recognized this. What you are advocating is FUTURISM, a Jesuit Inspired theology. Not a Biblical one. here is NO SOUND EXEGETICAL REASONING to DECAPITATE the 70th week and throw it WAY into the future with a 2000 year gap!

You are missing the thrust of the conditional prophecy. The idea is this: "You have 70 weeks (490 years) to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquitiy, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision...if you (Israel) don't do this within this time frame I'm giving you, you will no longer be my people as a nation (only as individuals), and the kingdom will be given to the Gentiles". Israel didn't accomplish this in those 70 weeks.
