Granted it is just a game, and I'll admit I laughed at this. But in all honesty, when you play the game enough (fyi i don't but i have friends who do) you get to know the people you're playing with. They become your friends, and those people chose to honor their friend's passing the only way that they could: in the game. They don't know where the person lives, they might not even know their name, but they knew that a good person had died, and they were trying to pay their respects.

Kudos to her friends for coming up with a way to remember her. Even though her character is just pixels on a screen, she was a real person. This was a dick move to make imo, but at the same time... she had an epic battle at her funeral, and she obviously liked pvp too since this realm is one...

Wow, an in game funeral? Doesn't mean anything. The game doesn't know it's a funeral, and these guys aren't really breaking any rules. I don't play WoW, but you can't really expect people to not kill you when it's so easy to.
I wonder how much experience all those ppl got. That was more of a massacre than a funeral service. Now we need like 100 funeral services.

The guild she was in deicded to advertise that they were going to do an in game funeral service for her, and rather stupidly, put it on public forums, stating that a video would be made for her parents. Its on Illidan server.
