I had this idea on how to keep the mobs from coming in yours castle. the 2x2 door, put 2 pistons in the bottom of it and make it so that when the bridge is down, the pistons go up, pushing the cobble up so that way mobs cant jump it. Then when you turn bridge on, the pistons go down and you can walk out.

I'd use pine logs and snow blocks for the walls. It looks strange when both the walls and floor is made of the same material, so I'd change the wood walls.

I'd say you should use sandstone with netherbrick in some rooms. But cobblestone and wood planks should still be used, too.
