I swear Zed had an attack that did upwards of around eight hundred to a thousand damage, and he killed one of my party members, too. Ironically enough, I had some trouble with this fight, but the Belselk fight after this gave me absolutely no trouble.

My all-time favourite character of the Wild Arms series! He made me LOL my ass of loads of times and is so badass, he has his own fight theme! His dialogue reminds me of Fawful for Mario && Luigi Superstar Saga.
