I just heard some followup information on the Ace label Dore acquisition that happened last year. Apparently the tapes are a mess with some songs missing or out of order and as you can see from the Dimples appearing on both Dore and Era label that Ace inadvertently acquired a lot of Era product unbeknownst to them so those legalities have to be sorted out as well before anything can be released.

I only hope they put out more than just one compilation... but no box sets! I can't afford those dang BEAR FAMILY Sets!!!

The Ace oldies re-issue label out of England is going to be releasing the Dore label product next year so hopefully one of the Dimples tunes will be included.
