It's a deleted scene from the X3 DVD. It's an alternate scene where Rogue didn't take the cure.

Okay, so this video's been around awhile and all, and I'm pretty sure I've seen it before (had to, it was on my favorites' list...), but I re-discovered it last night, and it so very definitely made me CRY. <3<3<3

Very nice, very well edited, and very awesome choice of song / clips. The end-area (with John walking out, and the like) seriously HURTS, lol. But in a good way? Or something. I like. I'd re-favorite, but I guess that doesn't do much, but... yes. 5*'s, definitely.

that was a different kid that ended up in a coma - they dont tell you what happens to this kid - its implied that he dies

In the movie she says "The first boy I ever kissed ended up in a coma for three weeks." That is the boy in the beginning. Though the filler comics tell a different story as well as the novel adaptation but keep in mind that they were based off of different scripts than the final one used in the movie.
