  • I'm thinking this guy would've been much better to play the guy Van Damme played in the 1st Kickboxer. Mark Dacascos actually practices Muay Thai and is pretty prolific in it, while Van Damme ha sno idae what Muay Thai of Kickboxing is

  • BEER!

  • Mymymymymy!! One hot fella. Love every time Wo Fat makes it onto HAWAII FIVE-0! Amazing men all over that screen!!

  • and the secret ingredient is.......

  • You won't beleive this but iron chef america brought me here :P

  • beauty actor

  • =) oO

  • Those who grew up with van damme dont give a shit about other fighters.

  • he is good, but very lame training montage music....

  • Great Man! (no coma)

  • He would make a great Ryu in a Street Fighter movie.

  • PS: I made a typo in my reply. Don't be silly enough to use that to question my grammar.

  • Latin like Van Damme.

  • guy training with sheep must be in line for an Oscar methinks

  • I'm just glad I'm not the only person who lubes himself up with baby oil before training...

  • Damn man he's my ideal actor of karate movies because of him i started TAE KWON DU & i reached upto Black Belt, he is the best but unfortunately he never get the credit he deserves

  • @Saahil8719 karate movies? you mean martial arts movies. there is a difference. karate movies are movies with krate in them. kung fu movies are movies with kung fu. and so on and so forth

  • this is not kickboxing training this is bulshit training

  • @bushidoartss Bullshit are only you, clown. Mark is master of several martial arts and in this movie he didn`t show only kickboxing, but ALL his skills.

  • @TheRanger866 if this is his skills it means his skills bulshit..his gymnast not martial artist

  • @bushidoartss Your opinion, I honour it. But it does mean that you VERY careless interested about Marc and his father biography. :)

  • @TheRanger866 why you interested in marc?he is the same man like..you and you can learn fight better then him...why are you making him like god for yourself.

  • @bushidoartss No, Marc`s father is very famous martial arts instructor and Marc in the youth was well fighter - he started in martial competition and got top places. Marc also fought in the street - to prove his skills in the real fight. I agree - former gymnast in the kickboxing ring or street fight is ZERO, but Marc is REAL and very experienced fighter and in my opinion, this skills just add fighting skills, not is to instead.

  • @TheRanger866 i talked with marc few years ago he was in chechenistan...he said that if he was born again he would train mauy thai..

  • @bushidoartss Maybe, I will not argue. I know that in the childhood Marc wanted to be... Buddhist monk. Marc have a basic of several martial arts - wushu, karate, brazilian capoeira... He is not a God for me, but I honour him, because he is master in his sphere, like Crosby in hockey. I consider, Marc is much better is REAL martial arts than other European and USA action films actors. Very interesting person and unfortunately - very underrated actor.

  • @TheRanger866 there is no such thing as a master. to master martial arts would mean you have no need to continue to practice and develope said skills. since you always have to continue to train and develope it is impossible to be a master

  • @houseofaction Real dogshit. Every person, it special martial arts master, have to improve himself all life.

  • @nezinnu your an idiot there is no such thing as a martial arts master.

  • @houseofaction Idiot are you, your grandfather and VERY many other americans... In fact.

  • @TheRanger866 that makes absalutely no fucking sence. you are saying im an idiot when you are the one that thanks its possible to be a master. the defination of a master is someone who has pushed something to its absalute limit and has mastered said training/philosphy/way of life. to master something you would need to have reached the very peek of human skill. to the point you would require no continued training. ask any martial arts expert and they will say that no one is truely a master

  • @houseofaction I don't want to provoke argue, but really - why almost all americans think that they are the most clever in the world? I hope, you have at least brown belt in any martial arts? If you have it, I will apologize to you, otherwise - please, eat hamburgers further and talk about things wher you really have a knowledge.

  • @TheRanger866 actually yes i have more then a brown belt i have trained in various martial arts systems from wing chun ,aikido, uechi ryu, some judo, jui jitsu, alittle wrestling. not much wrestling though. and i have dabbled in JKD and really anything that interests me at the time. have a 3rd dan in uechi ryu and a 1st dan in aikido. and just because there are people out there who dont have martial arts experience doesnt mean they aint qualified to comment on it cont

  • @TheRanger866 cont. there are many people out there who have never played a game of baseball in there lifes but none the less are experts on the game. there are people out there who have never ever been over seas yet no everything there is to know about the history of another country. you can not match experience up with knowledge. there are people out there who have never been in a movie but know everything there is to know about movies and so on. so get over mark he isnt as good as you say

  • @houseofaction About experts... I agree, some people never was players or film actor but is great expert (for example, Mourinjo in football), but that people is not a many. P.S. Please, explain, who in your opinion IS REAL master in martial arts, some examples and - why?

  • @TheRanger866 first off all im guessing that english isnt your first language. but second off all in my opinion aswell as logics opinion. there is no one out there who is a real master no one not one person on earth can be called a master in martial arts. and you clearly do not read because i have already told you why. but to get it into your head i will repeat myself cont read next reply

  • @houseofaction

Your own skills in English are pretty suspect. If you ignore the numerous spelling, punctuation, capitalization errors you made, there's still the issue of your definition of master. Just because you are in control of something does not mean that you don't continue to practice to keep those skills. Also, a master is also defined as someone being highly skilled in an area. It's fairly safe to say Mark more than qualifies in that regard.

  • @skybooboy my defination of master is the correct defination. a master is someone who is complete and in no need to continue, it is immpossible to be a master for the simple fact that all martial artists are students and will continue to be students,. anyone who says otherwise is full of shit

  • @houseofaction Agreed.

  • @OpurumD thank you finally someone who has some common sense

  • @houseofaction I take Shotokan Karate, so I know. Even the highest ranked Karateka (who would have to be well over 50-60 years of age), as a teacher and figurehead of a Karate Association, would still be a student of the fighting style itself. He/she still trains as if they are. To be a master is a goal that martial artists carry to their grave. No one ever accomplishes that.

  • @OpurumD exactly.

  • @TheRanger866 cont . the defination of master is to conquer or overcome, to complete, to have complete control, to have complete control over ones self and ones technique, therefore based on its simple defination a master would be someone who has reached the ultimate goal in martial arts. of completion of all training and no need to continue training., and since no martial arts is truely complete then no one can be a master cont

  • @TheRanger866 cont. if mark was really a master he wouldnt need to get up everyday and practice his martial arts every day or really ever practice he would be a comlete martial artist. but as anyone with half a brain knows that. it is immpossible to be a complete martial artist. many martial arts systems advertise having a complete system but those are the arts you want to avoid. because no system is complete

  • @houseofaction You know who is Marc and who is his father? Marc is winner of plenty of REAL martial arts competitions, not just actor or gymnast from TV, but who are you? Teacher of literature? Accountant? Bus driver? Marc is real master of his area, like Crosby in hockey and Tiger Woods in golf. In fact. P.S. Every master - sportsman, actor - have to improve himself all through life. You would tell me that you know person who know ALL about his area, about his work. I doubt. )

  • @TheRanger866 i know who mark is and his father Al but just because they are as good as they are does not make them a master it is immpossible to be a master. ask any true martial artists and they will say that there is no such thing as a master. infact master never meant what it is supposed to mean. master was always a term to descrime your teacher but it was a term of control nothing more. when people would call bruce lee master he would tell them that it is immpossible to be a master cont

  • @TheRanger866 cont. you fail to realize what the defination of a master is. in movies and martial arts stories a master is someone who has reached martial skill to such a level they are comlete in there technique and that is immpossible. and no marc has even admited he isnt that great of a fighter he has said this on many fucking occastions. and never once did he compete in a contact tournement he has only competed in forms.

  • @houseofaction wing chun ,aikido, uechi ryu, some judo, jui jitsu, alittle wrestling... Wow, respect, man! You are Chuck Norris or Benny Urquidez? ) I agree that Bruce Lee, Jackie, Jet is better than Marc, but disagree that film actor is not a REAL master. Marc is REAL champion. Yes, he was not improve his qualification, for example, to get 10 th dan in karate, he prefer a actor`s career. But champion is champion.

  • Mark Dacascos showing off his awesome skills to get some ass & titties!!!

  • that's why i love 90's all those greats martial artists were famous by that time and they were awesome MA

  • he's a great start, but can only rise if he's approved by CHUCK NORRIS

  • these type of films were great, problem is;they dont seem to come out anymore...say they did make a new age "kickboxer or bloodsport";instead with a lead "female" actress.i have to wonder which of these would be most suitable for that type of film... anne hathaway, ashley greene, kristin stewart, erica durance, jessica alba, emmy rossum, keira knightly, rose byrne, rhona mitra, hayden panettiere, sarah michelle gellar, rosamund pike or erica durance...?

  • @aressho get an actrees who knows martial arts in there

  • @ofomatheblackbelt hmmm,i thought sarah michelle gellar knew martial arts?,and jessica alba too if im not mistaken...maybe jennifer garner?

  • @aressho sarah michelle gellar really is master of martial arts. I doubt about others.

  • why is it that all the great martial artists in movies, are in low budget movies.... Mark is awesome... needs to be on the big screen

  • Another martial artist actor, who hasn't received his due, is Russell Wong, from Vanishing Son, and several movies. I knew when I watched him on the show, that he was a great martial Artist, and a vary good actor. It just goes to show, even when a martial artist doesn't have major language difficulties, Hollywood still goes with one hit wonders, because its cheaper. They don't want to foster another Jet Lee or Jackie Chan, and have to pay those higher salaries, look at Rain of Ninja Assassin.

  • BEEEEEEEEEEEER!

  • The bitch is destruction.

  • Truthfully, I only watched this movie because

Mark was in it! I'm a huge fan of his style of fighting. Double Dragon! Hehehe

  • Is the best Mark Dacascos, Congratiolation for capoeira practic.

  • 1:37 Dicks)))))))

  • That was him who hosts 'Iron Chef America' in the The FoodNetwork channel. I knew he looked familiar! That was also him in 'The Crow: Stairway to Heaven'

  • thats not fuckin kickboxing.!. thats fuckin kung-fu.! fuckin fobs

  • Mukha talagang Filipino~~XD

  • I adore Mark Dacascos. He's great but soooooooo underrated action star. Mark kicks ass everywhere

  • agreed..........

  • @Magnolia296 Hey, I know Mark since he was 16, we worked out together in Hamburg Germany...

  • I agree with you all, guys. He's very underestimated; an example, the arrow breaking: how many hollywood martial actors can do it for real like him?

  • maan, all those cabaca's destroyed, could have made some nice berimbaus...

  • Fffffffffuccckkiiinnn AAAAAA

  • I admire Mark and remember when his father used to be showcased in mags like Karate Illustrated and Inside Kung Fu. He's probably the best martial artist in Hollywood.

  • I agree thats why he doesn't get many chances because hes a real martial artist

  • Some actors just have more focus on family and don't want to spend the time away from home that many big movies require, and or don't have the time to spend investing in a career to make it florish the way some A lister's careers have. Some actors have just been in the right place at the right time.

  • @whitecubguy13 you are absolutely right. In Mark's case, he has auditioned for A List movies but didn't get the roles. He has admitted that, as an actor, there were many emotions he had not really tapped into until he became a father himself. He has told me, "Sure, I'd love to do more A-List Movies. But I can't wait for them to come around. I've got mouths to feed!"

  • Lou Diamond Phillips is another actor who has great tallent, but just doesn't seem to get the great parts, hopefully Star Gate Universe will change that. I think maybe actors like Decapreio, Matt Damon, and others who seem to choose smart movies do just that. I think they may be more involved in putting themselves out there, they may socialize more with other actors at inheritable events, etc and then those actors, agents, etc may recommend them for a part in a new movie.

  • He is doing pretty good on Iron Chief America, but that doesn't show off his martial arts, or real acting skills. Mark is 43, so he isn't that young, but he is in phenomenal shape. I bet he could do more push ups, pull ups, and sit ups than most male stars. There are a few other stars who like him, are great shape, can act, but never get the great parts. Unfortunately, many lessor actors who have a body but can't act get good parts, just like female actors who have the curves but can't act.

  • I wish he could team up with Dolph Lundgren. I really believe they could do a great buddy movie, and they're both real life martial artists and known to be very nice persons. Would love to see them team up.

  • Dolph is a nice enough guy, and he has improved his heavy accent greatly, however he just never seemed to move vary gracefully on screen, and his acting always seemed sort of stiff. I think that, Mark could still do great solo star parts, team parts, or as a mentor to a teen, but something better than Karate Kid, lol.

I think its sad, so many great Martial Artists who do go before the silver screen, don't get the chance to really shine. The star of Vanishing Sun was fantastic, is an example.

  • I don't like those "mentor to a teen" movies much, they are often so cheesy. But maybe I'm too old for that shit. ;-) Many people thought that Dolph's accent in Rocky IV and Red Scorpion was his own, but he faked it because he played Russians. Besides, Arnold wasn't stopped by his accent. ;-))) Check out Command Performance, I think Dolph has improved his acting much. With the age comes the relaxation.

  • I like HIM in this vid...

  • i like the music in this vid lol

  • With a father like Al Dacascos, I'm not surprised at his skills.

  • The Capoeira moves I´ve mentioned, were all taught by Mestre Amen, a Brazilian Capoeira praticioneeer for more than 25 years.

  • Muito foda, treinamento muito rigoroso, mas é assim que fica forte e resistente.

  • He's always in such terrible movies in spite of his talent. He should fire his agent and manager, they ain't helping him. Also if the girl wasn't this ugly that might help the movie a little...

  • yeah i don't knwo why, his acting skills aren't that bad either. damn shame he never broke through to mainstream.

  • Some nice Capoeira moves mixed in the training routine...I guess Mestre Amen´s teachings got Mr. Dacascos real interest.
