It's a totally different card. I got back from Vegas recently and went to the Luxor just to see this card so I took a picture of it. When I compared the picture and this video it's different. The angle of the card is more upright on this video and the signature is different. The 3 lines for the 'E' in love is touching the girl's signature on the video but not in my picture. Also Criss's signature is barely touching the diamond in the video but in the picture it's covering it.

Either, someone dropped it from the top of the door so it slid down and got wedged in the glass. Or, Criss slotted it into a pre-cut slit in the door about 2:56 which you couldnt see easily because of the other cards scattering.
I went to the Luxor about 2 weeks ago. The card IS in the glass, no doubt. This trick got me thinking A LOT and my theory is that she was an actress and a card with that same signature must have been placed on top of the door already. 2 glass panels in the door with room in between. At 2:53 he throws the cards from the TOP of the door (where the already signed card is) and someone, with some device, tricks the card to fall down in the door, which you can't clearly see because of the other cards.
ya know this could of been done something like 'camera edit' but if you notice the deck he is shooting is still not finished and there are cards in mid air so to be able to do that would not be able to be out of thought, but also another method that included getting the Luxor in on it. Clearly he didn't do that without the consent of the Casino so this also wouldn't be far fetched that the door was made to do that.
The man with the hoodie, got the card, when they walked through the door, and the vievers were paid, and the man, put it in somewhere, when they werent filming the glass.

I was there a couple of days ago and the card is there however at a much different angle or 'tilt' then it is here, about 100 degrees. You can also hear a loud bang as it appears as if there is some sort of mechanism to load it up into the glass however I still don't know how it is done. I don't trust Criss though he is known for using stooges and clever editing in the past.
@VforVictorybitches hmmm I always thought a spring shot it up between the glass from under the floor. Because you can hear a sort of spring sound when the card goes in. Who knows
Sorry Familyhero, I was in Vegas and stayed in the Luxor from 5/12/11-5/16/11. My wife and I went to this door and found out that it is a double pane glass door. We opened the door and looked at the edge. This is the ONLY double paned glass door at the Luxor. Trust me! We checked them all! Cool trick, but fake as hell!!!!!

1) The letter E in "LOVE" is touching the signature of the girl.. and in the other video it doesn't touch it..
2) Look at the letter O in "XOX".. very different.. also the letter L in "LOVE"..
i think i believe what the one guy said about the card being sprung up from the bottom.. i went there about a week ago and its not a solid pane of glass its 2 panes stuck together so i believe that it was sprung up from the bottom

just got back from vegas on monday and yes the card is still there. The angle is not all that different from the video. I took pics. it seems to be in the same location just off by a few degrees but its not like its 180 degrees turned. Its pretty convincing its the same card even if its not.

its pretty obvious that he puts one up the top and it slides down the slit. the camera doesnt show it and he demonstrated how he was going to do it but lower then he quickly slided it in at the top and did the rest lower quickly in a big pile to cover the one card sliding down

@familyhero I went to the Luxor about 2 days ago and saw this card in the glass. I couldn't believe it. I inspected the door and it was a single pane of solid glass about a 1/2 inch thick. I looked for any slits in the door to see if he could have slipped it in somewhere but there wasn't. It was a freakin SOLID piece of glass. I couldn't understand it. It was ridiculous!
@tcdag it's really easy dude you can even preform it, search youtube "how to preform a card through window illusion" it's a video by VideoJug, it's really amazing if you knew how simple it is, i think you wouldn't have to search for it, it's on the right in the suggestion
@MercuriousH dude you are obviously missing some HUGE HUGE points. in videojug's version (which is the version i know how to perform) the card is 'behind' the window, not 'in' the window. it's much easier to plant a card very quickly on another side... secondly, and infinitely more important. in the standard card through glass, you never see the glass untill after the cards are thrown, it's always there.. in this verison you can clearly see the glass

heres my guess on how he did it, watch the video and notice while he is sliding the cards and the window, thier is a sound of something dropping 2:54-2:59, and it couldnt be the cards because the cards are not heavy enough to make that sound. thier was a another panel of glass, thin panel that dropped from the top of the door by a switch to embed the card but only the card that was signed using correct timing and sleight of hand by chris

He said he will keep it in full view at all times, but right at 1:54, the camera is cut and restarts at a diffeent angle. meaning anything could have happened between the filming at 1:53-1:55. But he is still awesome. Surviving the implosion of a 30-story building when the very last lock failed to open, hovering above the searing hotb light of the luxor, walking on water, and getting sawed in half, I have no argument for those.
There`s a CUT between the trick.. when he dropped the cards 2:55, take a careful look... The card suddenly appeared 2:57. It didn`t have a falling motion, or any movement, it just appeared.. It`s obvious when you look at it. They really have the card in the glass.

i went to this hotel just for criss angel but i slowly realize all his shit is really fake, yea criss i came to ur home the luxor and "checked it out" and it just so happens every door in the luxor is single paned and the one u threw in the door just happens to be the only door thats doubled paned u got the card in, if u actually go there a third grader would be able to figure out how he did it, even the door directly across from it isnt double paned so obvious, those are paid actors most likely

I went to the Luxor last week and yes, the card is still there! Yes, he's great with illusions--and that's all this is. The door the card is in is double pained, all the other doors are solid. He simply tosses all the cards at the door while sliding that card down some special slit at the top. You don't notice it sliding down the inside of the door because the other cards are following. It's cool, but was quite disappointing to see the double paned doors.
Stooges the group that is with him ( not behind the ropes) are his actors that help him in his tricks. He is not as good as the solo acts that go around and do close up. It seems that he really does not know sleight of hand, because he has to use actors.

look at the seam at about 5 foot high
(horizontal)going across the door.he saves the card for last and does a slam dunk and it drops down....i had to rewind it 8 times to find it.

heres my guess on how he did it, watch the video and notice while he is sliding the cards and the window, thier is a sound of something dropping 2:54-2:59, and it couldnt be the cards because the cards are not heavy enough to make that sound. thier was a another panel of glass, thin panel that dropped from the top of the door by a switch to embed the card but only the card that was signed using correct timing and sleight of hand by chris

Dang. I like to believe its real. He said he will keep it in full view at all times, but right at 1:54, the camera is cut and restarts at a diffeent angle. meaning anything could have happened between the filming at 1:53-1:55. But he is still awesome. Surviving the implosion of a 30-story building when the very last lock failed to open, hovering above the searing hotb light of the luxor, walking on water, and getting sawed in half, I have no argument for those.

There`s a CUT between the trick.. when he dropped the cards 2:55, take a careful look... The card suddenly appeared 2:57. It didn`t have a falling motion, or any movement, it just appeared.. It`s obvious when you look at it. They really have the card in the glass.

i went to this hotel just for criss angel but i slowly realize all his shit is really fake, yea criss i came to ur home the luxor and "checked it out" and it just so happens every door in the luxor is single paned and the one u threw in the door just happens to be the only door thats doubled paned u got the card in, if u actually go there a third grader would be able to figure out how he did it, even the door directly across from it isnt double paned so obvious, those are paid actors most likely

I went to the Luxor last week and yes, the card is still there! Yes, he's great with illusions--and that's all this is. The door the card is in is double pained, all the other doors are solid. He simply tosses all the cards at the door while sliding that card down some special slit at the top. You don't notice it sliding down the inside of the door because the other cards are following. It's cool, but was quite disappointing to see the double paned doors.

Stooges the group that is with him ( not behind the ropes) are his actors that help him in his tricks. He is not as good as the solo acts that go around and do close up. It seems that he really does not know sleight of hand, because he has to use actors.
