I have tried this. It's wonderful. I have yet to try with beads. How do lengthen the cord? What is the length of string or wire that I need to take to make a bracelet or a necklace? I need help...
Wonderful, clear directions, thank you. And I absolutely appreciate that no matter what the language of the watcher, they would be able to follow these instructions.
@allpurerandomstyle If you start with the 8, you put 2 colors up top, to the left, to the right, and the bottom. then you take the Left string at the bottom and take it and pull it to the left top. You should have 3 at the top. Now take the right string at the top and pull it to the bottom next to the single string, on the right side of it. And keep repeating.
WOW! what if you wanted to make a solid bead cord, not seeing the thread? I have tried the 8 strand with beads on each strand but it doesn't seem right adding a bead on each turn
Very nicely done! It was very clear and self explanatory and I enjoyed the music! Thanks

What is the cord/thread size that you are using? I imagine that its at least "bugtail"/0.5mm right?
vivarose 9 months ago
@vivarose For this one, the thread is doubled strands of embroidery floss.

You did a great video, I had seen the loom in a shop but had no idea how it worked. I think I may try it!

Thank you for sharing this technique. I bought my loom while traveling & was unable to attend a class on how to use it.

Fantastic. I have been wondering how to place beads so they lay smoothly on a disc. Thank you so much for the demonstration!!
