Best political decision since the fall of the Iron Curtain 20 years ago!! Hungary has been wrecked by lenders and unfavorable loans, but what really crippled the nation where all those EU enforced guidelines designed to virtually isolate Hungarian products from the market deeming them "sub-par", all the while never bothering to enforce those same regulations in the EU powerhouse nations. What a sham!!! The current Hungarian politics have all my blessings and admiration!!
There is a -reason- why the politicians can not have control of the bank. Then they can print money to pay fiscal policies. You people saying this is good need to go to school and get educated in politics and economics. You just don't know what you're saying. Sorry.
@Boromir26 I don't mean to be rude but you really don't understand what you're talking about. The EU policies are very good but those made in Hungary are pretty shaky. The job of the central bank is to use monetary policy to help stimulate the economy. When corporate leaders want to hold their money selfishly when the economy needs it for growth, the monetary policy is to lower interest. It works- it's a good program but too many see a conspiracy theorists who get that wrong. :-(
