  • this is impossible, they all look like a cluster of stars to me. can't tell the difference. too hard.

  • is the method same for viewing on the equatorial?

  • @newcomer9747 yes but north pole star will be steady on your horizon line and you may not see it if you're living in the south hemisphere side or in case you have some mountains or obstacles in front of your view.

  • If you bust up a biscuit on a centered piece of paper and then spin it, there will be a crumb that will stay in the centre, and thats how you can tell also
