  • awesome song,I wonder if he's still alive ?

  • Always loved thus thee most!

  • awesome!!!!!!!

  • Filmed in Manchester UK, 1965

  • even this guy is better than Justin Boobie.

  • Victim of his time (and i guess his ignorance) but awesome all the same...without the ignorant visuals.

  • July 1965

  • Jay hawkins wrote this. All the rest are cover versions

  • I was under the impression this was an old R&B tune and I could have sworn Cab Callaway did a version. This version is primo. This guy is nuts and has the voice to go with it. Can scream without getting on your nerves and that takes more talent than you think lol. Wilson Picket is another who could. Great song

  • so far ahead of his time we still ain't caught up yet.

  • the song pretty good but this laugh just killed me. especially in the studio version.. After hearing it i rofled about 2 minutes

  • trop bien

  • I love this guy. I have always loved this song. I love every version-but especially Screamin' Jay's. I first heard this when was a teenager in the late 60's, but never saw these videos until recently. Love the simplicity and the intense punctuation of the instruments. His voice is pure sex. Wish he was still alive so I could have another baby for him. lol!

  • i like the way he makes weird noises

  • great song, but this seems a little racist

  • @thewhitezombie666 Wtf do you mean with racist? He's just a Voodoo dude! jeese..

  • the guy was a genius.

  • absolutely amazing song.

  • ))) Элвиса Пресли вывернули на изнанку

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!

  • Bevor he wants to become an opera singer....:-)

  • . ow

  • does anybody know which is the version used in a tv commercial in the uk, cant remember if on itv or channel 4, for their season movies november/december 2008?

  • Awesome! A true original. Thanks heaps for posting! :)

  • Wow was this really filmed in 1960?? I've seen this clip before but i never knew how old it was, i thought maybe it was from the late 60's or early 70's. Thanks for clearing it up!

  • I haven´t got the exact date of the broadcast, but i´m almost secure that it was early 60s (1962-63 as late).

    Thanks for adding your commentary!

  • This does definitely not date back to the 60's. You can easily tell by the drum sound that it is from the 80's.
