in nova scotia we are not allowed to catch lobster here period.i don't agree with it i think a diver should be allowed to harvest at least 2 a day...but you would deffinatly need a snare cause with our lobster if you jammed your hands in there hole you would loose a finger or two they got some nice claws but i have cought lots by hand you just have to be careful.nice vids on the diving for lobster though..good luck and dive safe!!

LMAO why not use a home made lobster lasso made of a single wire not too firm or soft. Put the lasso in the hole behind the lobster and pull fast enough grabbing the lobster by its tail. the home made lasso is much better than the dive shop lasso. TRUST ME. I shall upload a video showing youtubers how easy it is and how we do it in the Virgin Islands

Mate we are only allowed to use hands to catch lobster in NZ no snares, hooks, nets nothing just jam your hand in the hole

and most people freedive for them

We dont have soo many morays here only seen one, and I dont think lobster and moray will be in the same hole so if you see a lobster prob no Moray at least thats what Im fooling myself with :)
