@H1mynameisLarry The Infiniti M37 is not a full size sedan if thats where you point is leading too, it is a midsized luxury sedan on par with the 5 series, E-class & Audi A6 however I do see what your trying to say. Full size hybrids would be the Lexus LS, BMW 7 series & Mercedes S- class. Infiniti still has a Full Size Luxury flag ship sedan in the works though.

@H1mynameisLarry Uh definitely NOT. The Infiniti G37 is their entry level sedan the same way the BMW 3 series and Audi A4 are entry level models for their own brands. Infiniti does not have a full size sedan as of yet which is why the M37 is temporarily being dubbed their "Flag ship sedan". Do you not remember the Q45?? That use to be Infiniti's Flag ship sedan rivaling the S-Class back in 2006 until it was discontinued. It use to be the G, M and Q. Now its just the G & M sedan

If Infiniti plays their cards right, they really could be the industry's leading manufacturer of both hybrid and Electric vehicles. I'm not a hybrid or Electric car enthusiast but if its one thing I'm really looking forward to from Infiniti this year it is probably their new & worlds first Luxury Electric sports car which debuts at the Geneva Auto show in March. Rumors are at an EPA rated at 150 mile range with massive amounts of torque, could you imagine? Finally a performance Electric car!

Excuse me for saying this but this is bad marketing of a good car ! From a simple perspective a buyer would never ever consider the 0-60 time when buying a luxury sedan when its only 0.5 sec .... this is simply bad marketing really bad. In addition the image of a Porsche will always be of the better sports car due to heritage, the 911 and ect.

seriously why all the Infiniti hate, the m35h won the drag. Infiniti/Nissan has always been competing with Porsche, that just shows that Nissan recognizes the the position they stand so don't hate Infiniti for winning. This is a big accomplishment for the m35h. I love both car brands. BTW Porsche isn't the king of lux anyways, they always stood of the passion of the driver being one with the car.

Anyone that has sat in the Panamera would know that the interior isn't very good. Porsches aren't known for their interiors. I own a 911 and have sat in many friends Panameras, they are spartan.

Interior refinement may be better in a Porsche, but 2 times better? There's simply no way. Jeremy Clarkson said the Panamera is as ugly as an "inside out monkey." And let's not forget, it's slower.

Infiniti is a premium brand. It's true that it's not as premium as Porsche, but it's inching closer every day. They make ultra reliable performance-oriented cars that are better than many German counterparts. yes the race in the commercial was staged, but guiness world records actually raced the two and determined that the infiniti m35h is faster. so to all of you stating that the porsche would have won if not for the wheel spin, that is incorrect.

completely staged with no thought of real drag racing. not to mention, the porsche wasted an eternity just burning rubber for no obvious reason. take out the burn out and the results would be far different. even with the burnout taking forever, it still (according to the video) just barely lost. but then again, they skip around for half the race. you cant even tell who wins. lets see a real race.

The only place in the world where some Infiniti's are badged Nissan's are in Japan and even then they cost more then the average Infiniti here in the states cause it belongs to Nissan's Premium Factory. Infiniti has as much pedigree as the Germans the same way Audi has its own pure bred character even though it was born from Volkswagen. Don't be so naive.

You ignore the fact that Panamera is bigger, heavier, less powerful but more economical and still fast (which is the point of a hybrid)...also, Panamera handles better, drivers better, is more luxurious, better equipped, more practical, etc....don't forget that Panamera is the fastest saloons in the world, and Inifity has never been known to make great sports saloon cars.
