sucks. i just wasted my money on this. the driver installed ok but the cyberlink powerdirector won't install because it can't tell i have windows media 10 so repeatedly tells me i need windows media 9 or above. there are NO INSTRUCTIONS on what to actually do to record from ur external source, only instructions advising you that the manufacturers "strongly recommend the installation of both softwares to maximize your benefit from this device". So.. does that mean it's optional?! RUBBISH

the audio wont come threw with my usb & i looked at the sound controles to my computer & says the usb audio is on in the reording controles but it dosnt show the usb audio in the playback, do i need another audio card or program to use usb audio playback?

My setup is: PS3 to the CaptureDevice via analog AV cables, then capturedevice to laptop via USB, then Laptop to LCD tv via Computer RCA cable...... I want to capture gameplay from my ps3 but the only way i'll be able to play and record at the same time is to "Look" at the little monitor that shows what's being recorded on my laptop!..... How can i play on the TV in full size and record on the computer at the same time??? please reply quickly! Thanks

Yes, we figured it out! If you're using PowerDirector to capture, try clicking onto a different source - the mic, for instance - then back to TV. No guarantees, but it works for me.

make sure the volume recording is set to USB OR MIC INPUT. some programs may allow you to record computer sounds so make sure you change it.

the software is useless really. If you want to add titles and delete scenes and add background music and improve the video quality of the analog videos, you can better use a better software such as sony vegas , adobe premiere or Final Cut.
