The 2 Mels sound good as usual, as does Victoria actually - she didn't harmonize right though, since she's supposed to sing the low notes here. Emma sounded bad, and Geri was worse.

Okay, Em started the song off key and it went bad from there. This was early in their career and they hadn't learn to harmonize live yet. Mel B tried to get them back on key but they were too gone by then.

The sound of the tv set was horrible in general. The choir during the bridge even sounds bad. They also had no receivers in their ears to synch each-others notes to harmonize. They arent the best singers in the world but the production on set had a major fault in this performance :(

dont be mean... They were nervouse !did you see the crouds ? throughout the song they didn't show any emotion so the girls put more effort in and sometimes more is less. They were still good !!

I agree, I think of all the 'big' groups out there, Spice Girls have always been quite nervous at the huge functions they attend as they really care about public opinion. I actually think it's cute that they are nervous. They have improved over the years.

Why did Victoria and Geri not attempt to sing the alto part to harmonize with Emma and the two Melanie's instead of straining to sing soprano? They kinda dropped the ball on this one.

Also look at Geri starting from 2:52, she looks like a fan who got her chance to sing next to her idol. She sings as if she totally lost her note. Off key actually. She's trying to sing in UNISON but her voice can't fit in. I think she's only miming in some part of the song. She knows it's not good to mix her off key notes with the rest of the girls. She's smart actually. I love Geri. She's good at rapping though.

Listen to 2:18. You can hear Geri's duff note. She lost her note in the song. I love the Spice Girls okay but that's just it. Geri often sings duff notes. Then, in this performance, they totally lost each assigned note. They just sing UNISON.
