  • Citizen, are you sitting here and telling us every time you stick your penis in a vagina it is only to have a baby, and that is the only aspect of that relationship? This ironic, because this would make you no different from an animal. And as the bible says, animals have no soul. With no soul, you won't go to heaven. Sorry to have to tell you that.

  • i am a hetero and i will date a transvestite 24 7 .

    i don't have a choice .

  • (5) have made such an impression on you. As Ghandi said "I like your Christ but not your Christians, they are so unlike your Christ." And how pitiful is that? True Christians are to emulate Christ's love so much that those they come in contact with are drawn to YHWH...and yet it is not so. It honestly brings me tears that so many people are turned away from YHWH by the hypocrisy, hatred, and selfishness that is so present in so called "Christians." Peace be with you, and YHWH bless you.

  • (5) Christ's teachings. Following Christ isn't a matter of being perfect so you can condemn the imperfect, it's realising your imperfection and your need for forgiveness and turning away from your old self. Whether homosexuality is or isn't a choice, it doesn't matter. We all are born with a sinful nature...and so therefore it ISN'T a choice to sin, but rather a choice to indulge in that sin and not turn from it. I love you and I'm sincerely sorry that the large group of false followers

  • (4) yet a straight person who has a problem with swearing isn't commanded to quit that altogether. As a matter of fact, many continue to swear as though it weren't wrong! There aren't pre-required lists that you must abide by before choosing to follow Christ. In following Christ, what you're doing is accepting Yahshua's death on your behalf so that you can (in your sin) be forgiven, and ALWAYS be forgiven. Then you turn from your sins and gradually continue to work away at them, following

  • (3) YHWH's made (sex) and uses it in the wrong way. It is a perversion of YHWH's intended purpose of it. In that sense however, many things that we do are perversions of YHWH's purpose for them. And so although homosexuality is a sin, it is neither on one side of the spectrum or the other, but level with all sin. Which is why I believe the treatment of homosexuals is outright asinine. If a homosexual decides they want to be a Christian, they are immediately commanded to quit their acts...but

  • (2) but neither am I by swearing or lusting. Yet it is still wrong. Sin is sin. Simply put, it is all wrong, it all keeps us from YHWH, and the outcome of ANY sin is eternal torment. Homosexuality is wrong because it is in fact a perversion. If this were not so, men could have children with men as women could with women (naturally). But they can't. Men and women were made for each other. And the reason why homosexuality is a sin even though it's "not hurting anyone" is because it takes what

  • (1)Homosexuality IS a sin according to the scriptures. But it is no different than any other sin. YHWH hates sin. ALL sin. And all sin is the same, whether stealing bread or murdering someone...it is still wrong. I do not ignore the fact that gays are treated differently because of what they do. And as a matter of fact, it annoys the crap out of me. Christians tend to categorise it as worse than other sins even though YHWH places ALL sin in the same category. Sure, gays aren't hurting anyone,

  • YOU KNOW HOW MANY DIFFERENT CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS THERE ARE, SO ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT "ALL' CHRISTIANS? HAVE YOU PERSONALLY EVER TALKED TO A CATHOLIC PRIEST ABOUT THIS ISSUE? BECAUSE, I HIGHLY DOUBT IT. I DON'T HATE HOMOSEXUALS, I HAVE FRIENDS WHO ARE GAY! YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE...ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE OLD OR NEW TESTAMENT????

  • I'm a Christian and I'm all for gay rights. I hate homophobia and homophobes in general. I don't live by the bible and I don't hide behind it. I only believe in God and Jesus Christ but I don't use the bible in my defenses because I know that the bible may or may not be accurately correct thus, no reason to follow it.

  • @ycantibu, I enjoyed this video, thank you for your support.

  • Great video. It sickens me how Christians pick and choose the sins they want to follow. Too many people hide behind some outdated book/belief system to justify their own hatred.

    5 stars!

  • Say whatever you want YOU ARE WONG!!!!!

  • I applaud you for uploading this. Too many people in this day and age hide behind their religion and use it to justify their being a horrible person. That, and the convenient "forgetting" of certain passages in the Bible that contradict their opinion.

That, and this trend among modern Christians for being overly concerned about what consenting adults do in their spare time to their own bodies, not harming anyone. They then say that it "affects their moral well-being".

  • So, the same God that says it's ok to bash babies heads in with rocks? (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9). Is it the same God that says slavery is ok? (Exodus 21:1-11). And is he the same God that says rape and murder is ok? (Judges 21)

So far your God has killed 371,186 and orders 1,862,265 to be slain in his name. And that's before the Crusades, etc. That's a massive body count.

Anyone that says being Gay is wrong needs to read their Bible. Your God is evil.

  • ok how?

  • I assume you're replying to my comment that Homosexuality is self destructive. I'm sure you're well aware of the physical complications that come with the homosexual life style, but on top of that there are a number of emotional issues that seem to be connected with homosexuality. For example, studies indicate that homosexuals are 2 times as likely to consider suicide when faced with difficult times. Also, homosexuals seem to go through MANY more sexual partners than heterosexuals.

  • That's utter bullshit.

  • What's utter bullshit?

  • Homosexuals going through more partners than heteros. That's just biased prejudice. Or do you have proof?

  • It's not biased prejudice, Dr. Thomas Schmidt records in his book Straight and Narrow that 75% of homosexual men have more than 100 sexual partners during their lifetime, most of them being strangers. And only 8% of homosexual men and 7% of homosexual women have relationships lasting more than 3 years. Homosexual males average 20 partners a year.

  • Um, how about providing a non-biased source?

  • What makes you think that source is biased?

  • @Goobster1920

Want to know what is the blame for that? Religion. I blame religion for the cause of the most problems that we have to face today. If it wasn't for religion then the world would be in a better shape right now.

  • @TheStarTreker

I'm sorry to hear that, sadly I disagree. I think the world would be much worse off without religion. That, and I find religion, specifically Christianity, a far more logical conclusion than Atheism.

  • @Goobster1920

Of course you would disagree because you are a Christian. Religion has murdered a lot of intelligent, brightest people over a millennium. Especially in the mid ages science wasn't allow to be practice because the Roman Catholic Church wouldn't allow it. The reason why I said if it wasn't for religion then the world would be in a better shape right now because we probably would be 2000 years ahead where we are now.

  • @Goobster1920

    (Cont.)

We would be a lot more scientific and technological advanced instead of being stuck in the dark ages, primitive times. No Secularism would be the far more logical conclusion than any religion especially Christianity. You don't really realize how much suffering and harm that religion caused to humanity throughout history. Look at history and study every religion then you will realize how wrong and truly evil religion is.

  • @TheStarTreker

I have done both of those things. And let me also say that no matter how "evil" you think something is, that is not grounds to say it is illogical. If you want, I am more than happy to debate over the evidence supporting theism and the existance of God. As for the "evils" you place on Christianity, those were done by men. Blame the man, not the religion.

  • @Goobster1920

I find it illogical believing in myths, fairy-tales, magical, supernatural things. I'm not going to waste my time on debate on something that you cannot prove and that has lack of evidence. Who started religion are the blame and now religion spreads like a cancer, a disease, a infection.

  • @Goobster1920

    Like one man said once:

"I condemn false prophets, I condemn the effort to take away the power of rational decision, to drain people of their free will--and a hell of a lot of money in the bargain. Religions vary in their degree of idiocy, but I reject them all. For most people, religion is nothing more than a substitute for a malfunctioning brain." — Gene Roddenberry

  • @TheStarTreker

See, now that is the type of close mindedness many people accuse Christians of having. You aren't even open hearing the other side of things. You simply insult the other party without offering any logical reason they are incorrect. I'm sorry you weren't mature enough for a rational discussion. It seems you were really only interested in insulting those who think differently than you.

  • @Goobster1920

Bud, I'm not close minded or irrational at all. Sorry you don't like that quote from the creator of Star Trek but that is what he felt about religion and that is what I feel about it too. I might not support or care for organized religion, think it's wrong, it's for the misguided but I'm not gonna hate or condemn everybody that follows it just because I don't agree with it. Sorry if it sounds insulting and offensive to you.

  • @TheStarTreker It IS insulting and offensive. That quote basically says "anyone who follows religion is stupid." To quote it directly he says "Religions vary in their degree of idiocy...religion is nothing more than a substitute for a malfunctioning brain". That is nothing more than an immature jab at other peoples beliefs. Quite frankly, I am shocked to hear it from Gene Roddenberry. I expected better of him.

  • @Goobster1920

He was brought up Baptist but he had an agnostic atheistic view and believed in the human philosophy. Star Trek shows the issues of morality, ethics, tolerance, political, religion, non-religion, civil rights, and human rights, sexuality, homosexuality, etc especially in The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise. I find it ironic some of you religious never notice those things in Star Trek.

  • @TheStarTreker I'm sure some did. I fail to see the relevance though...

  • Excellent video!

  • We are afraid of our own shadows, let alone something/someone we have little understanding about. When most male teenagers enter drug induced psychosis, the matter they become obsessive about is their own homosexuality. The irony is that, this is a typical American male teenager response to drug induced psychosis. The experiences of teenagers outside of the U.S. suffering from similar psychosis highlights a wide range of fears personal to them. Welcome to Fear, Inc.!

  • The truth is, homophobia is rife in the U.S. more than anywhere else in the world. This is not because American's are more acutely homophobic than the rest of the world. It has a lot more to do with a culture ridden with fear of one kind or another. Continued....

  • Dude, think about how many times the Bible has been rewritten over the past 2000 years, rewritten by those with fear of homosexuality.

I used to think I was evil and that heterosexuals we're right,

Until I turned on the tv and suddenly two girls are kissing, every hour, on every tv channel, EVERY day, because THAT'S alright but two men together is "evil".

I care not for the words of men who've now destroyed this planet.

I live my life within God, and God created me in his image.

  • Thanks for uploading this. I strongly believe pretty much every word illustrated here, and it's a breath of fresh air to have it out clear.

  • The division that religion causes is beyond comprehension.
