  • 5 percent isn't really that much... if you take an average 2000 calorie consuming person, the 8 hours affected only burn an extra 55 calories...

  • I am an intermediate bodybuilder and i can say without a doubt that this is probably thee best trainer ive seen on youtube, VERY INFORMATIVE, gives you the rights and wrongs of each exercise and plans it very well, listen to this guy, he knows what hes talking about.. I examined multiple of his vids to make sure and he passed all with flying colors... Good job dude, you get a LIKE, SUBSCRIBE AND ADD FROM ME!

  • Interesting. I do my training with a set recovery time. Doesn't that work you body harder and give better results. And yes, I have found that my heart rate stays ups pretty high during the recovery and doesn't get down to 70%,, however, that makes my overall avg heart rate higher for the whole workout which means more calories burned and a better workout i think.

  • @sameeehh You do hiit every morning. Watch rob riches workout he goes gym 5 times per week and does hiit 7 times total morning. But I'm not sure about food, does he do hiit once he wakes up or after breakfast?

  • @MrDaNGeR1980 you dont lose muscle mass by doing cardio you people on say that because the people that tend to lose weight have a bare minimum caloric intake and that is why you lose muscle if you do cardio and have a good diet you wont lose muscle but u will lose fat

    Totally agree. Not only that but studies show that HIT actually builds skeletal muscle over sustained aerobic exercise.

  • Hey gym goers: DONT USE THE ROWING MACHINE UNLESS YOU HAVE GOOD TECHNIQUE! YOU LOSE MOST OF YOUR BENEFIT FROM SHIT TECHNIQUE. WATCH ERG VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE of ACTUAL rowers to figure it out.

  • @nexisras I actually have to agree with you on this point specifically. But I'm sure Rob intentions were good and I do agree with him that HIIT technique is the best technique to burn fat.

  • @nexisras Lose most of your benefit? How? If you have bad technique you might not be going as fast but you are still working as hard, which is the name of the game for most people doing cardio. Most people doon't really care if they could be going faster with better technique.

    What does his sixpack have to do with this? Yes he has a sixpack, but 60% of that comes of dieeting. If you don't run/row/whatev the right way you will be using less cal => takes longer to have a sixpack.

  • @kelly980 Yes, losing most of its benefit due to not training using the proper muscle groups or straining muscle groups overtly. Rob, while I have respect for him, is not utilizing swing. Swing allows for Propulsion, and more watts generated, and more abdominal suport being required, the better technique you use, the most efficient you are and the more calories you burn per stroke. Furthermore, poor technique leads to injury, which no one wants either. As a rower, I am quite well versed in this.
