I love antiheroes. I bet most of them are ADD. rebels non conformists nihilists anarchists genius the Einsteins that tapped or untapped their potential depending on the environment tat either nurtured the creativity or treated it like being odd & out-casted.
@TheLegendaryDoc ..Really?? How the heck did that come about? Do you have a link by any chance? Haha, even if it's not true, it's still an honor to be nominated, as they say.
Wow, great editing, and if there was ever a song that was a theme for an actor, this would be it. 5/5.
Ebert's always gotten attacked for liking mediocre films, but you can tell that he both loves films and knows what the great ones are, and his quote about Paul Newman was bulls-eye.
Great video, really captured the Newman we all love. Perhaps you should have included some footage from Hud and Hombre as well, Hombre in particular is one of the greatest, most underrated westerns ever made - mostly because of the fantastic anti-hero portrayal by Paul Newman, in the title role of Hombre, the indian half-breed.

Brilliant piece, thanks for posting. Paul Newman was also magnificent in 1982's "The Verdict." Roger Ebert wrote a beautiful review of the film: "Newman, still drinking, finds that if you wash it down with booze, victory tastes just like defeat."
Every guy wishes they were Paul Newman

That's the way the films were--they meant something. They were about the individual against the world or something.

"God's Gonna Cut You Down" by Johnny Cash. The song is actually longer than it is here, because I had to cut for time for my presentation.
