I did this same thing logging back in, it all felt so foreign to me. I pretty much was doing the same things as you and remembering all my old items...except I was apparently logged out in the plane of time and died quickly upon re-entering the game...lost my lvl and had to get someone to rez me to get it back!
does anyone remember where they left their characters for the last time they played? For me, almost 10 years ago, i believe i headed back to hometown and camped away!
I absolutely loved hunting in Blackburrow! It seemed like every day when I was making progress I would hear someone spout out, "TTTRRRAAAIIINNN!!" I remember getting my first whip there too, I loved the crack sound every time you struck with it. I spent hours traveling, months leveling, and loved every second of it. I miss good old EQ!
Oh man! This game was a huge part of my childhood as well. I played on and off until the Planes of Power released and then decided to move on. I was a Barbarian warrior on the server Cazic Thule, and I spent my days trading in East Commonlands. I loved working the market there and ended up with level 40 equipment at level 5 - no joke. I got dual Swords of Lamentation and a Fungus Covered Scale Tunic among other things.
@Elanarae i know that tunic and I always wanted one too lol it was from that frog dungeon which is high level that i've forgotten the name lol. I belive it came out with kunark.
I remember i got it finally with some trade very long time after kunark launched but figured out it was a nice twink at the early time but when u are a monk with higher level the regen wont help that much i think
@vglp33 Yeah some asked me if I neglect my study because I play WoW and stuff, but honestly if I hadn't played WoW I would have done something else (like making Let's Plays or watching YT Vids) instead of learning xD
I get focused when I need to so I'm not that afraid of "getting addicted" because when I need todo work then I do work.

You should play on Project 1999. A popular EQ1 emulator that relives classic EQ like it was 12 years ago.

@eldanloco I did play some Planes of Power and stopped during it, then came back for the next expansion and quit for good xD
Oh I trust you with the Equipment thing, I always envy people who can work the market like that, I tend to suck at brokering xD
mhm Fungus Covered Scale Tunic I always wanted one of those for my Monk @.@

They call this Evercrack a lot, you know? I don't play these type of games, cos I fear getting addicted to them.
