they work really well together i think.

The Sp555 is much better for sampling than the KP3 but personally i think the effects on the KP3 are better, but the roland effects are mental aswel.

im in need of a sampler to record my already created songs for live performance ( as a sort of loop ) ive been looking at the ESX, any ideas?

ESX is a cool little monster, but is better for making grooves, as it is much more a drum machine with sampler functions as far as I know. if you want to remix your songs live, the sp-555 and sp-606 should do the trick. on a low budget, try the sp-404, or some older gear (such as sp-303 or sp-505) could work as well with some clever routing and outboard effects. but you don't need to trust in my opinion, you can always check videos about them here on youtube ;-)
