I wish they made movies like this instead of the reality shows that they have now. I also wished there was a network that was played nothing but mini-series like this all the time.
@rayanna33 Sadly networks won't do these type of programs anymore because they are much too expensive to produce. Reality/game shows are much cheaper. TV was a lot better before the corporate mentality took over. JMHO.
@rayanna33 sounds like your thinking of the Romance Channel (AKA Romance Classics), I remember when they used to show nothing but romance movies and mini-series. Now it's called WEtv and it's nothing like it used to be..nothing but crappy shows and reality tv.
This is my all time favorite movie. After I saw it for the first time when I was only 6 years old, I put my mother sing to me the song every night before going to sleep. In the story, but most of all in the song, it's very much everything I am. I've been looking to find this movie for a long time...thanks for the upload
two words - "brideshead revisited" - not the god awful movie but the terrific 1980's Granada television series with jeremy irons and diana quick. now on dvd, too. they just had the 20th anniversary special edition dvd a few years back. truly magnificent nothing else comes close for historic detail and story telling.
ohh how I love France and wish I CAN LIVE THERE FOREVER AND HAVE A MAN RIDE OFF A CRIMSON SUNSET WITH ME IN THE VINEYARDS WITH THE ONE OF MY DREAMS lIVING IN A CHATEAu....
Boy, we are in for a real treat. Not only do we get to watch this classic mini series, but the full 6 hour version of it, something that you do not even seen on the DVD release I think. Again, LB Colby, you did it again by posting Till We Meet Again. So many good actors in this, a who's who back when this was released including Hugh Grant who is deliciously bad. I am going to spend the afternoon watching this. Keep up the outstanding work. Now I will sit back, watch, enjoy, and appreciate this.
I've got this series on video, and love it. I've been looking for the "Princess Daisy" adaptation on You Tube but can't find it. I think I haven't seen that one in 20 years..
finally i found this movie again, first time i saw this movie was 17-18 years ago and i love the song ^^ is there anyone know what the song title and the singer ?
I saw this mini-series years ago, probably when it was first aired, and because I disliked Hugh Grant so much in it, I've never been able to really like him in all his other films where he plays nice guys :o) --- like in Notting Hill.
that`s funny cause i had the same feeling about him:) i know it was just a character he had to play but still.this was the first time i`ve seen him that`s why.
OMG I have been looking for this for such a long time! Thank you SO MUCH for purtting this up!
Now I'm going to sit back and enjoy this, it's one of my favorites. I read the book too, which is also awesome. Thank you again for all the work you've done.
hi, i was wondering , i once watched a mini series but i don't know the name. it is the story of a painter who has an affair with a model woman later he leaves her and has an affair with her daughter, the daughter dies but he has a child from her, later he marries a wealthy woman and has a child from her. does the story rings a bell?
That sounds like Judith Krantz's "Mistral's Daughter" with Stacy Keach as Mistral and 42-year old Stefanie Powers as teenage (!) model Maggy. A pre-Bond Timothy Dalton and Lee Remick also star, as does Ab Fab's Joanna Lumley.
Where are parts 23 - 28? I cannot find them. I am a huge fan of Bruce Boxleitner who appears in this mini series. Do you have The Last Convetible mini series. I have been trying to find it everywhere.
Oops, I tried to respond to nadavno's comment and I again accidentally deleted it. I'm really sorry about that!
I don't currently have neither "Return to Eden 2" nor "Lace." But I believe someone has already posted "Lace" on YouTube, although quality may be an issue there.
omg! I saw MR.Sheffeild.... from the nanny.

Mack and Jock. lol! What "masculine" names.
It sure doesn't take much for Ms. Krantz to grasp the attention of her audience.
Her methods are as transparent as cheerleader porn.
mastmedia 2 years ago 2
Ha, ha, ha!
I agree.
You brilliantly summed up the "name giving policy" of J. Krantz!
