Mormons are christians that have John Smith in their scriptures and doctrine. That's the short version. The long version is a bit more "special" if one studies their history, doctrines and their particular dogmas.

@Kellyo90 - Get rid of those things then we're just 1 of 20,000 amongst the other hundreds of Christian sects trying to interpret the Bible after their own understanding. Wouldn't it then be fitting for God to reestablish, as promised in the Bible, that additional scripture would be necesary? (See Acts 3: 19-21 Revelations 14:6-7)

@THELDSLIFE Revelations refers primarily to the tribulation... which to my knowledge hasn't begun yet. Acts in this case refers to the new heaven and the new earth following the tribulation. So... yeah I interpret these differently. To me the Bible works pretty well as a standalone text. If additional scripture is required, then the Book of Mormon could be as valid as The Watchtower or the Koran. I have nothing against LDS, except for the added scripture.
Where in the BIBLE does it say marry more than one woman.....I know some people in the bible had more than one wife but that died out later on in the bible. It is disgusting in my opinion to have more than one spouse at a time. There were times in the bible where people would remarry but that was only because of death. I dislike this sory to say so but I am not a mormon and this comment is just MY opinion.

K I know mormons are people and I get that they do regular stuff like regular people, but can you state clearly what a mormon is? It's the same situations of the Bible when the people of Israel suffered. They suffered because they rejected the prophets. The role of a prophet is to speak for the Lord as his mouthpiece but things NEVER went well for the people who would profess to know God but would reject the prophet God had sent them. @THELDSLIFE Joseph Would not have lasted past one false prophecy, he would have been stoned to death right away, read the book of Deuteronomy. We are told how to test what is being told to us by teachers and prophets by the Berean Jews in Acts 17:10-14. Notice they never say we "feel" if it is correct or to pray and then feel if you feel that it feels correct. To understand the heart you have to understand the frame of mind a person is in at that time (Jeremiah 9:25-26,17:9).

Josephs children were from different women also and none died other than normal deaths. It was not because of the church that he was arrested and killed it was because the truth was being leaked out and he tried to stop it by destroying the printing press thus arrested and killed. Look it up for yourself, do not ask the LDS they do not know the truth.

Well, I have taken the missionary lessons and they tore down all that I believed and tried to make me believe that what they believed was true - my religion was put down by them and made to look foolish and not true!!! They threw the first stone - I did not.
I don't know why Mormons think they are persecuted...First they are NOT Christian, but THEY attack other religions with their Missionaries...I don't go door to door and tell others that their religion is not right - they do!!! If additional scripture is required, then the Book of Mormon could be as valid as The Watchtower or the Koran. I have nothing against LDS, except for the added scripture.

Where in the BIBLE does it say marry more than one woman.....I know some people in the bible had more than one wife but that died out later on in the bible. It is disgusting in my opinion to have more than one spouse at a time. There were times in the bible where people would remarry but that was only because of death. It's the same situations of the Bible when the people of Israel suffered. They suffered because they rejected the prophets. @THELDSLIFE Joseph Would not have lasted past one false prophecy, he would have been stoned to death right away, read the book of Deuteronomy. We are told how to test what is being told to us by teachers and prophets by the Berean Jews in Acts 17:10-14. Notice they never say we "feel" if it is correct or to pray and then feel if you feel that it feels correct. To understand the heart you have to understand the frame of mind a person is in at that time (Jeremiah 9:25-26,17:9).

Josephs children were from different women also and none died other than normal deaths. It was not because of the church that he was arrested and killed it was because the truth was being leaked out and he tried to stop it by destroying the printing press thus arrested and killed. Look it up for yourself, do not ask the LDS they do not know the truth.

Oh this video DOES poke fun at some of what makes up "Anti-Mormon" tactics. I didn't realize that THEY were the only ones who could take a swipe at someone. This is a tiny pat on the butt against those who spend NIGHT and DAY attempting to thwart the work of the Lord now going on in the Lord's modern Zion.
