When you hook up an engine that is made to run on gasoline to the gasifier outlet, what is coming out the exhaust of the engine? I'm confused because CO is one of the things normally coming out of an engines exhaust, but in this case its going in. More succinctly, what is the composition of the wastes released by a gasifier fed engine.

A small percentage of methane is formed when a C bonds with 2 H2, but by the time the H2 is made the process is running out of reduction. To make CH4 (methane) catalysts are usually used.

Great video, but what happened to the H2? How/when does it form methane? Or does it form methane at all?
