  • hahaahahha 00.51 china dont buy it

  • So can i just using like my mouse or i have to be in the programs to use it?

  • I'm looking to purchase my first tablet for concept art (characters, weapons and landscapes) and I was looking at the Intuos4 Medium mostly for the active area size, since I want to mimic drawing on a decent-sized piece of paper. With this in mind, would this still be something I should get, or is there a Bamboo/other Wacom model with a large active area? I mostly want to minimise drawing in a small space compared to a large monitor.

  • @htcjunkie16 so, if you rest your hand on the tablet while you draw, will it show up on the computer?

  • Dude what the fuck happened to your thumbs lol

  • 1:16 stroke nib... for when you're stroking your willy? oO

  • @foerhead This one is the Intuos4 Medium

  • I wish I had a customizable cord with the XL you cant change where it is neither do you get that awesome mouse

  • how hard is it to adjust to drawing without looking at your pen?

  • @kevin71127 honestly, it takes some getting used to depending on what you're doing. Photography and graphic design are shorter learning curves than digital art where you're drawing and painting. I do digital art and it took me a good year to get comfortable, but maybe I'm slow ;)

  • all it needs is a screen like the cintiq and its perfect nice review though

  • @macho2k8 I have a Cintiq 12wx that has a similar screen size as this tablet.

  • Great review. Thanks for being so thorough. I'm definitely getting one now. :-)

  • @foerhead M. It was even mentioned in the video.

  • Nice video and demo of the functions. Have you ever used any other tablets besides Wacom?

  • the reason why (I think) it works in the right side off the pad is because that side of the screen the mouse dissapears off the screen but nothing appears over there.

  • Oh and I just got the tablet to so that's why also

  • Hey everyone was wondering if someone could help. My problem is in Corel painter12, using the tablet I can't rotate with the wheel. Could someone tell me or show me a video how to make work, I have not time right now to figure it out on my own cause of school, art is a hobby.

  • @foerhead Yes, as mentioned in my review.

  • is this the medium tablet?

  • @Yutozandurr yes

  • hi there, is this device sensitive when touched on the work surface such as if your pen is on the surface then you touched it with your finger the tablet will respond to the point touched last? really what i'm asking is it similar to wacom bamboon fun where sensor is responds to anything that touches it no to the pen only.

  • @itsbigdan nope pen only, i used to have the bamboo fun but its sooo annoying when fingers react on the tablet, traded it in for this one, with extra costs ofcourse but i dont regret it

  • good review but 380 € wtf :O

  • What camera were you using to record this review? Was impressed by the quality of the video (and even the audio, if this was on-board recording).

  • yes! stop the lefty discrimination! go wacom intuos4!!!

  • quick question, will it work if you have a pice of paper over the screen?

  • @hutch356 like for tracing?

  • @htcjunkie16 yeah, like something you already did on paper but want to edit in photoshop, but you dont have a scanner

  • @hutch356 nope, I tried it and it didn't work

  • @hutch356 maybe if it is really thin tracing paper

  • @htcjunkie16 @hutch356 Yes, you can trace over paper. This is one of the most basic things you can do on this model and it is designed to do so specifically for this purpose. If yours is not tracing through a standard sheet of paper then you haven't figured out how to adjust the pad sensitivity. ...or, its defective and you should return it.

  • @hutch356 it doesnt work, BUT. if you put your photo into a scanner, import it into your drawing program, create a new layer over your photo, you will be able to trace it. ^ ^

  • do you need the software dick my laptop does not have a disk driver

  • @TehWummzy You can locate the software drivers on Wacom's website. Click on Customer Care, then Product Drivers. Select your tablet and and your OS.

  • hello please help..i have had probs with my laptop and uninstalled wacom intuos4 .............i cant find the software cd anywhere. Do you know how i can reinstall it?? lynnecarville:@hotmail.com

  • @lynnecarville1 You can locate the software drivers on Wacom's website. Click on Customer Care, then Product Drivers. Select your tablet and and your OS.

  • @lynnecarville1 the software and drivers are on the wacom site for free

  • will this work for adobe flash professional and for any type of animations

also will it work with any adobe product (cs5)

  • @kambati99 yes, any product

  • @kambati99 ye it works with all cs5 programs and i also use it on flash alot

  • @kambati99 Yup! works with pretty much any application that will run mac or pc. The pen really just replaces a mouse. So whatever you mouse would do you now control that with your pen

  • sooooo many tablets, I'm confused... Is this tablet going to be updated soon or should I not worry about it?.. I want one, but I don't want to purchase this model if a newer model is coming out soon for maybe a little bit more money..

  • @BunnyManBridge Newer models ALWAYS come out with technology, lol. What do you need it for? A lot of options but there are some entry level Wacoms like the Bamboo line that are cheaper for starters

  • Excelent review! Thanks!

  • This was not the case with the graphire 3 series where you could map the dry signal of the pen pressure to whatever levels you needed. The driver suit for this product only allow for some factory presets that are all bad. Basically you must choose if you are going to have sensitivity for dark shades or sensitivity for lighter shades. I deem this product somewhat annoying and art hostile for a serious user.

  • @tjakal Hi. So.. Wich one would you recomend?

  • @ptlofts Depends on what you're planning to use it for. What are you in to?

  • @Artspirational Photoshop CS5. Photo editing.

  • @ptlofts If it's your first tablet try out the Bamboo series. They range from $79-$199. If you're a more experienced user try the Intuos4 S or M. Most of the larger tablets are geared for digital artists and illustrators

  • I've used photoshop doing fine arts using various wacom tablets for 10 years, with this one I must say I'm quite disappointed. The resolution and accuracy of the active area is the best to date, but there's all this hype over the 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity. There is 256 levels of shading available to the digital artist - yet the 2048 levels of pressure is mapped in such a way you need to press down so hard you are damaging the hardware to get it to go 100% full black.

  • @tjakal the sensitivity is adjustable

  • @htcjunkie16 It is, but none of the settings allow you to use the full range, either you have low value sensitivity, or you have high value sensitivity. You can tweak this some by editing the values in the registry editor and cover the surface with a paper. The surface of the tablet has a texture that is hard and grinds your pen nibs down in no time. Replacement nibs are fairly expensive too and are sold in very small packages, go figure.

  • @tjakal yes. but there are settings for tht, when i just got the tablet i had to push pretty hard, actually scratched my tablet a bit, but once u fine tune the settings, and you photoshop brushes then it works very good

  • @b1gbudda Yep, it scratches alright - First project I did, I could actually look at the surface of the tablet and sorta see what I had drawn. There is no way to fine-tune the settings inside the tablet driver settings. You can only choose if you want sensitivity for high values or sensitivity for low values, with 2048 levels to map 256 discrete steps that is just bullshit. Wacom dropped the ball on this one. I'll use it til it's worn beyond use then I'll commit it to the fire.

  • Very good review. Changed my thoughts on the product.

  • Are there any good tablets that don't use batteries

  • @PatzerKing Wired tablets at most need 1 battery for the pen and can last years without needing replacement while working at full potential.

  • @PatzerKing This one doesn't use batteries!

  • @PatzerKing This one doesn't use batteries at all. Is powered through your usb and the pen is magnetic.

  • these are really cheap now aren't they! totally buying one...im a learning zbrush user. aaand i cant wait to get my hands on one of these.

  • :it would be even that much more better" *cringe*

  • Good review.. now to decide between the medium or large.

  • Hey i have a wacom intous4 mid and its workin fine.but i wnt to knw hw its work on pressure and frm whr i cn download d drivers fr tht.?

  • @gochagochi the pressure can go up to 2024 levels i believe, the highest of any tablet, though with compatibility issues, it might limit it to 1000ish, which is what intuos3 had. Just look on Wacom's site for their software.

  • Did you even watch the video? He said it was medium.

  • what size is yours? medium?

  • I purchased the small version to replace a Bamboo.

As stated, Wacom have excellent customer service.

  • @johnet326 how is the small? thinking on buying one but in RSA prices between medium and small is a bit much for me now, is the small good?

  • Good review. Easily beats the one davomrmac made.

  • does it make any difference in efficiency if I bought the biggest one ?

  • which camera do u use? (in this video)

  • how much did you buy yours??

    please answer

  • Very nice review, thanks for sharing. I have previously owned an Intuos A5 tablet and it is amazing to see how much these products have developed since. Also, I noticed that you can now get this tablet with a copy of Adobe Lightroom 3, for the same price as just the table, so pay attention if you consider a purchase; make sure you order the bundled version and get that most excellent photo editing software included. I am pretty sure the offer is world-wide. Thanks again, I enjoyed watching!

  • Thanks for the review! Do the buttons by the grip ever get in the way of how you hold your pen? I hold mine differently...

  • Good review, but thats one disgusting finger...

  • Great review

  • eww dude you got some nasty bumps (burn marks?) on your thumbs, looks very unhealthy...

  • @oOoDaEnGoOo i think their warts D : icky lol

  • Please add an eptileptic warning before you starting moving your fingers or stop the abuse of coffee :-)

  • USB ports? On a product whose driving feature is Bluetooth? Nah ;)

  • i dont like the idea of having to change brushes in reality, i would rather just press the hot key...

  • wake him and wac him lol

  • Great review. Awesome camera ... what type of camera is it you used to record this?

  • Which size is this? Medium or small?

  • @myRincon Not Small at all. Small has no OLED Markers next to the Expresskeys.

So It has to be at least medium.

  • great vid thanks and great slideshow
