Setting a gripper

thanks man. I started off with a trainer 9 months ago and worked my way up to 12 reps on the 1. Now i just closed the 1.5 for 3 reps but ive not come close to the 2. I didnt have a clue "setting" is so important. Now im going to try over the next 6 months to double my reps on the 1.5 and than 6 months after that I hope by using this technique i can close the 2!

is this method to close it legal for certification?

The requirements by IronMind for certification on the three can be found on their website. You would have to be able to place a credit card inside the handles and remove the other hand before closing... Unless they have changed their standards, but I couldn't find it on their sights when I looked just now :S

280 pounds if the pressure is applied in the middle. According to Ironmind the producer of this CoC gripper.
