It looks very similar to the Xbox xdk interface. To me it could simply be called the next version of the xdk. Everything that is in the original xdk is there and besides the color it is practically the same. That is good though as the original xdk is a great piece of software and debugging with it is fantastic.

This console (MY XDK VERSION) can play only ''review'' or ''beta disk'' ,it can also play a varius program installed on hardisk.

It can't play ORIGINAL disk

1. Microsoft wouldn't sell one to you, or every kid that thinks he's a hacker would have one.

2. you can get one of these on ebay for about the price of a PS3... That's 300-400 dollars..

well they do cost that much actually. and i am talking about the fully up to date one that you get sent from microsoft. i know this because on my visit to the university of huddersfield they had 4 devkits as they are working on a game for xbox live arcade (they won that dreamplay contest where they get to do that) so they are official partners with microsoft and they said its 10,000 pounds each

Why would you do that when you can get one that is just as good off ebay for 300 dollars... I don't understand why people want them anyways, you can't play xbox live unless you mod it, and you can't play retail games unless you mod it. and microsoft will not sell you a devkit unless you are with a studio. Average people are not supposed to have them because they are like xbox live moderators.. They can change xbox acc's to gold for free cancle acc's and so on...

Well I know that. That's a given. But if you have an xsata there are certain godes you acn put into the hex to make the console think it's a dev console. But if you really want one you can get one off ebay. and you can mod ANY game with it. litterally becaus it's a Devkit. YOu don't even have to resign anything..

I know what a devkit is for. I'm not stupid. And it's not illegal to own one if your not a developer. But the reason everyone other than devs want one is because it can run unsigned code. Which means you can do ANYTHING.

Why do you think it is illegal to sell a devkit? Microsoft may not want it to be done, that doesn't mean their is a law against it. And it's illegal to distribute homemade games regardless. It's illegal to make a back up of a game that you don't own no matter who you are. That's copyright infringement. There is no license that lets you go around that... And as far as the food and weather thing.. You know what I mean, But I appreciate the sarcasm..

Homebrew is not illegal.. In the case of the xbox the only illegal homebrew is homebrew made with the xdk because legally they can't have it anyway...

It is not illegal to own a devkit. . . You can buy one straight from Microsoft if the money is right. It is not illegal to run homebrew, but it is illegal to rip, save, and burn pirated games unless you already own the game. That is why they have made it so difficult to run homebrew. Once homebrew is able to run on retail 360s that's where it's going. That's what everyone is going to use it for. Just like the original xbox...
